Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright, reasonably long throw for an LED emmitter, nice length
    Cons:
AAs rattle inside, switch on mine is AWFUL. The torch won't stay on, needs to be shaken to get it to work. The seal around the ...

    Pros:
Strobe is very fast which is exactly what I wanted. Reasonably bright.
    Cons:
DX logo on it is a bit bare, would be nice if it was the same as top left of the page (lines etc)

    Pros:
It's very sharp. Fits on easy.
    Cons:
With it on the torch it makes it have a "flower" effect around the beam, minor but might annoy some people.

    Excellent torch

posted by abx86 on 01/09/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent build quality. Tail cap unscrewing feels very high quality. Very bright with 2x 3.6 CR123A batteries. Glow in the dark tail cap as standard makes sense.
    Cons:
GITD tail needs a high concentration of light over a long time to produce any glow that would be of visibility over any distanc...

    Accidentally Received This

    posted by abx86 on 01/05/2008

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Small, bright, light-weight, doesn't get too hot. Build quality is pretty good, it beats any Maglite AAA anyday!
    Cons:
Doesn't fit my protected batteries. I would say it will only be a small amount water resistant as there are no o-rings.

    Excellent Value Tripod

posted by abx86 on 01/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very compact. Build quality is surprisingly good I thought. Time will tell though. Perfect for small digital cameras or the WF-602D flashlight which is tripod-mountable (I'm still waiting for that torch to come)
    Cons:
A little bit too short height-wise.

    Pros:
Cute. Easy-to-use. Reasonably useful. Cheap present.
    Cons:
The button on the bottom is awful, it has slid in to the inside of it already.
