    Cheap and apparently accurate.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I have tested several known diamonds with this. I also tested several other non-diamond stones. It was correct 100% of the time. Build quality is sufficient. Comes with a case, with a protective plastic block to protect the probe tip. Comes with a stone tray.
    Cons:
Like other diamond testers, it can be a little difficult to understand at first. You have to set the unit based on the stone si...

    Very happy with it.

    Pros:
Best price in town. The local flea market sells these for $8 each. I could not tell it was not OEM. Works perfect for my girl's iPhone 4. Has plenty of power for apple devices. Comes as a AC/USB adapter and a USB data cable. Dually useful.
    Cons:
No cons for a great accessory. Have to wait for delivery from China to US. Worth it for the price and quality though.

    Similar to OEM

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good deal. This is $15 USD here. Everything seems to work fine, no major issues. Nice fit, form, and function. Looks similar to OEM equipment. Not much else to say, it's worth the coin.
    Cons:
Trigger is slightly firm, and the little block that opens to route the nunchuck wire is a pain to open. The box was slightly da...

    Really cool deal

    Pros:
This is a very quiet fan compared to other USB fans. It has an On/Off button. Very useful. Some of the people in my office love the light show. Has several hours of run-time on it now, still going strong. Our management keeps the office too warm, this is ex...
    Cons:
Personally, I thought the lights are distracting, and would prefer an identical model with no LEDs. The Method of electrical co...

    Very nice

    Pros:
Very sturdy cable, I was looking for a "monster" logo on it. Alas, not there. Still, very thick, strong and well made. Gold plated, woot! Price is good. Similar build quality cables are about $30 USD.
    Cons:
If you need a very flexible cable this isn't for you. It flexes, but it's just so thick. Probably need 3" clearance behind...

    impressed

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Very smooth operating, very nicely built. Looks like it cost much more. Nice spot on throw, nice round ring on flood. The modes cycle just by barely pressing the power button. Multiple power options is cool too. Fully O-ringed on both ends, and around the l...
    Cons:
Hard to fit protected CR123A's, even the 18650's stick out a bit. Lots of spring to make up for that though.

    I love this flashlight

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
One BRIGHT little sucker when focused to "throw", and great area flood when focused to "flood". Will turn your eyelids bright yellow if you shine it in your eyes when they are closed. The clip is super tight at first, but after the first...
    Cons:
when on throw mode, you can see the SHAPE of the LED cast. It's a square. However, I think it's cool.

    Good, Cheap dot-sight

posted by ace-at-mind on 01/19/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Very well made for a cheap sight, except for the front sight post (peep sight). It looks like it may vibrate off after a hundred or so rounds. Lettering looks good. 3 brightness settings, and two colors to choose from. The selector knob works very well, ...
    Cons:
Front site post looks like it may want to jump off one day. Lettering has some miss-spellings "Containa Tririum". No magnific...

    I like it

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
It's a regular 3x3x3 with an extra layer of cubes super-glued to opposing sides (18 extra blocks). Messes with you at first, until you realize that is solves similar to a regular cube. It should be useful for teaching color-blind people about the rubiks c...
    Cons:
Glued together, albeit glued very well. Stickers aren't put on perfectly square. Not a problem, it just makes it look cheap.

    Very good deal, cheap!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very light weight, and cannot tell if the rods are fiberglass or carbon fiber. The balls are light, and look tough. Of course, it's ok for them to crush if my helicopter doesn't break!
    Cons:
Included clips didn't work with my Lama V4. I have to use cable ties, twist ties, or little o-rings to attach them. Actually, t...
