Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    * Wide output range * Mount holes * Relatively small
    Cons:
    * High quiescent current (13mA @1cell to 12V, 65mA @1cell to 35V) * uneven Pot adjustment (lower end: 1 turn ~0,4V, higher end:...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    * Good soldering * Easy to use * Small size * Cool operation * Two LEDs showing charge state * Low Standby current, can be connected directly to the cell. * High charge current * Small, thin, lightweight
    Cons:
    * No mount holes on the PCB (But is totally flat underneath so can be glued to the case, or the input and output holes can be f...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    * High resolution * Pocket size * Protective lid and pouch * Backlit Display * Easy usage * Easy calibration, holds calibration for long time
    Cons:
    * Value changes slowly, but that is common for scales with this principle * Eats Batteries (but they are common, so no real pro...

    Get them!

posted by amigaexpert on 01/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    * Long split (You can separate Servos wide apart) * Good quality plugs * Golden pins * Cheap * Futaba flanged plugs * Tight fit, so plugs won't fall out.
    Cons:
Wire is not the thickest, but most servos have similar wires, so that should not be a problem.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Seems to be exact below 0.1g - I have three of them, all are <0.1g different - They fit in 35mm film canisters, so i can store them airtight and clean
    Cons:
    - Mine were brass (yellow), not chrome, but that is not really a problem

    Warm white & Nice bright

posted by amigaexpert on 01/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Warm white, just like halogens - Not too yellow nor too blue - Big light spot makes it less blinding - Wide opening angle & even lighting
    Cons:
    - Seems darker then colored LEDs, but that may be due to the color or the bigger 'chip'

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Nice red color, not too orange nor too dark - Wide opening angle - Nice brightness, even with only 100mA you won't look at it for more than a few seconds and it doesn't get too hot. - Clearly visible polarity marking "-"
    Cons:
None, besides me wondering why whites are cheaper.

    Bright and a good value

posted by amigaexpert on 03/22/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Bright - Flexible - Even colors among the strip - Silicon tube (at least it feels like some) sealed with silicon glue makes it watertight - Connector fits to standard 1/10 in (2.54mm) pin headers - Common Anode ("Plus 12V") makes controlling easy
    Cons:
    - Wires are color coded RGB, but do not match the colors of the LEDs - Wires are in different order on the strip and on the con...
