Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Price! How can you beat this? The genuine ones will set you back 10 times this price. It's built quite well and feels right in the hand. Nice positive buttons. Worked first time for me.
    Cons:
It's not a dedicated brand unit. All the different brands of cameras mean there are a heap of buttons you'll never use - not re...

    Pros:
Polarisers are expensive. This is about a quarter of what I'd expect to pay for a filter like this at retail. The larger ones like this get really pricey. I have a Hoya for another lens and it seems to give a similar result. This filter screws on neatly and...

    Pros:
Well, it's cheap - much cheaper than you'd find them anywhere else. I had hoped to use this to inspect 35mm transparencies before taking the time to scan them.
    Cons:
The lens on my unit is very poor, there is a tiny part in the centre which gives a usable image, but outside that it's so disto...
