nice while it worked, but poor wiring

posted by bdkhatri on 05/16/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This controller works well right out of the box. The buttons are responsive, and the joysticks are nice (but stiff.) Turbo and Auto functions weren't that hard to figure out. D-Pad is very comfortable.
    Cons:
After a while the red/green/black/white wires were exposed on the controller. Then the black wire (GND) snapped off. I couldn't...

posted by bdkhatri on 02/13/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The sound quality is quite acceptable through these earphones. I couldn't notice any downgrade in sound quality compared to higher-end earphones. The microphone is of good quality, but it does not cancel noise. The volume control is quite useful. If you are...
    Cons:
The outer casing of the earphones will fall off if you drop them too much. After having one of the casings fall off from an ear...

    Pros:
It is convenient, especially when trying to hold books that like to close by themselves with one hand. I can also stand up and make a book face me directly with one hand. The thumb hole is reasonably sized so that many sizes of thumbs can fit inside. The ed...

Just works, actually is DVI-I dual link

posted by bdkhatri on 07/18/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I got a DVI-I dual link to VGA converter. That is exactly what I ordered. I can use ps3 and computer on one monitor now!

My screen (samsung 205bw) was blurry in the middle, but I can't blame that on the build quality. About 3 of the pins appeared b...

    good for basic VOIP

posted by bdkhatri on 07/14/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It is light. It is retractable. The retracting mechanism works well while it stays fit. The microphone isn't that bad. It is suitable for laptops, but not for desktops. The price is pretty cheap for the microphone. Earpiece feels comfortable in ear.
    Cons:
The cable is too short to reach from a desktop computer to your ear. This would be ideal to use with a laptop. The earpiece onl...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I had this mouse for quite a while, and it worked well. It performed well in my games like Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat: Source. The side buttons were useful for changing sensitivity in games too
    Cons:
The ball in the middle scroll wheel breaks if you press it too hard down. If it breaks, the scrolling will not work anymore and...
