    Nice looking Pendant

posted by ben07 on 04/11/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's nice enough to use on special occasions. When coupled with a different chain, it looks like a really expensive piece. Great for those situations when you are actually concerned about losing a more valuable piece of jewelry
    Cons:
Other then the delay in delivery, no real cons. I ordered it around 3rd week of January and received it first week of April. ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works right out of the box. No charging issues. Terminate charging at the proper voltage expected for Lithium 18650 cells. Charges both protected and non-protected cells. I charged 26 mixed cells in a row with various stages of discharge without any issues....
    Cons:
Other than it took DX almost 2 months to deliver my items, I have no issues whatsoever. Actually, while I was waiting for the ...

    Works great. No drivers needed

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works right out of the box. Unlike some converter/adaptors that require a driver, this one doesn't. Works in windows and my homemade NAS running FreeBSD/FreeNAS. Readily recognized by a WinXP system as well as Win7 32 & 64 variants
    Cons:
The picture shows the universal blue and green ps/2 ports for the mouse and keyboard. Mine came with gray/black ports. Not that...

    Pros:
I bought this to use as a bike light. I made a dual beam stainless steel bike light for an offroad / mountain bike. Why stainless steel? For strength, corrosion resistance and sealed from the elements. I know that aluminum would be lighter but I obtained pe...
    Cons:
none at the moment. I haven't used the bulb long enough to test its longevity and durability The lumen rating is probably a li...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It looks nice and allows you to carry your iphone or ipod during workout activities such as jogging, biking and gym sessions. The materials used combines waterproof nylon, thick clear plastic and neoprene backing. The iphone/ipod is actually encased in a so...
    Cons:
Although the velcro (hook and loop fastener)runs almost the entire length of the strap, the loop side (soft side of the velcro)...

    Simple and elegant

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I purchased this more than a month ago but it arrived just a week ago (not DX's fault) - however, when I received it, I was NOT disappointed at all. At first, I thought it was going to be a cheap looking case but it turned out better than I expected. I've ...
    Cons:
The front face protection is thinner than most but it is still better than nothing. If you lay the iphone face down on the tabl...

    Better than nothing

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It should do its job protecting the chainstay again chainslap. The material is long enough to span the entire length of the chainstay that is usually hit by the chain during shifting.
    Cons:
The neoprene material is really thin and the velcro used seems "brittle". But since this is not meant to be removed on a regula...

Good product at a great price

posted by ben07 on 12/01/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Lightweight and easy to install. Velcro fasterner runs the entire length of the protector pad. It helps avoid dirt, mud and grime from getting into your front suspension components. Just make sure you remove and clean them up after your bike run
    Cons:
The neoprene material is thinner than most and cheap-grade velcro is used. I am not sure how durable the fastener is going to l...

Looks a lot better than OEM pads

posted by ben07 on 11/30/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
First of all they are longer (70mm) than cheap OEM pads that are about 50-55mm. In the UK, I believe that 65-70mm pads are standard equipment. They feature a channel that may function to evacuate water during wet weather or may serve to cool the brakes duri...
    Cons:
I have yet to test these brakes out so I have no cons for the moment.

    Pros:
Simple to use. You can wrap it just about anywhere (on the handlebar, bicycle fork, wheel hub, seat post,on your helmet or even a backpack). It has three modes. Pressing the center of the light housing cycles through these modes. First is alternate flash (o...
