    You definitely need it.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I bought two of these for my new DSi as the advice given by most reviewers. They come in with nice package and even a piece cloth is included for removing bubbles (I guess so because I don't read Japanese). The bigger one is for the screen above, though th...
    Cons:
It is hard to apply, at least, if you are not doing this often.

    Looks good, feel good

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This case makes my white DSi looks more colorful and eye-caching. The aluminum cover feels solid. Installation is really easy. Because the inside is plastic, it won't cause any damage to the DSi when applying the case. Within 2 clicks, it is done. The build...
    Cons:
It is a bit thick which makes the DSi larger and heavier for kids to hold.

    It is small. It works!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It is made of light plastic. It can be easily folded and fits in any camera bag. A rubber band (not shown in the photos) is in the box which is used to stop it from slipping. It is easy to put it on flashes. The light is softer than direct flash. It is quit...
    Cons:
My 580EX is quite big, therefore there are gaps on each corners from where light escapes. The front is made of semi-transparen...

It works and it is cheap

posted by compucat on 06/23/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It works. It holds my flash and umbrella together. The build quality is solid. There is even a screw to tighten the umbrella. You can adjust the angle of the flash and umbrella. The locking mechanic works pretty good.
    Cons:
The rail on top has no screw to tighten the flash. If you set the adapter at an angle, there is a risk that your flash will sli...

    It works!

posted by compucat on 06/23/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
It works with my 580EX II. No problem at all. My test shows the range is around 13 meters with 2x NiMH battery fully charged in the receiver. The build quality is ok for the price. Sync speed is up to 1/200 or 1/250 depends on the distance.
    Cons:
I have experienced many misfires at distance of 2-3 meters. Sometime 2-3 after each other. It is very strange. It seemed that a...

    Better white balance!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It is bigger than it looks on the photo. It works. The build quality is ok. The frame is made of metal and can be folded but I don't think it is necessary because the case is of the same size.
    Cons:
It is too big to fit in my camera bag. The build quality is not the best especially the frame. I can be folded if you like I am...

    It works!

posted by compucat on 06/02/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It works! This is exactly what I looked for. Much smaller than the remote-controller-like products. No driver needed. Recognized by Windows XP as an input device. Buttons feel comfortable and clicks are clear. No cheap feeling. Real plug and play! Laser poi...
    Cons:
Case is too big, it is overkill for such small devices. Two batteries are included (23A 12V). One of them was dead in one day (...

    Great product!

posted by compucat on 06/02/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
First of all, it works! Good build quality. Solid. Both the plastic and metal finish are perfect. I don't own the Canon OC-E3 therefore I cannot do the comparison. But this one looks and feels very Canon. And, it is (much) cheaper then the Canon one.
    Cons:
Short. It is about 40cm not extended and about 1.3m when pulling the elastic wire to its full extend. If you want you can find ...
