posted by daveLED on 05/29/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very low current drain. 6=7mA, 5mA, 2mA, fast strobe 3.5mA, slow strobe 6.5/0.5 mA by fluke meter. Quite bright for the low current. Not as bright as samll sun zy-c60 at 80mA, but much more reliable switch.
    Cons:
Came with broken lens. Ordered the 10 pack lens. Used lens plus o-ring in front of lens for a water proof seal. Did current ...

    good value for price

posted by daveLED on 05/29/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
very small and low weight. Has 2 submini LED and 3 small LED. $3.19 is a very low price. Looks water tight with silicone gaskets on both ends and silicone transfer pad to internal switch. Some excess plastic to infer with the gasket.
    Cons:
No reflector. Has white colored board in back of LEDs so it doesn't reflect the light outward. Have Al foil or silver color f...

Nice price and bright for a standard LED

posted by daveLED on 07/30/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
For the price an excellent deal or extreme deal, deal extreme. One of the lowest cost fashlight that works. Moderate current draw for an AA battery. Excellent for a kid's flashlight. Don't have to worry about lossing something expesive.
    Cons:
Feels cheap in the hand. Tubing is thin and thread are weak. But what do you expect for the price. The switch should be more...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good value for the quality of material used in the body and switch, and lens. Feels well built and comes with a nice box for display and gifting. The AA common cell is a real plus in the cost of operation, but high current draw. Gives a reasonable amount...
    Cons:
The current draw was the main draw back. I didn't know that an AA could give some much current. Will likely have a very low b...

    Pros:
Very low cost for very bright light. Very light weight. Can be treated as a disposible. Good to have just on and off. No confussing modes. Would be better to have just two modes - low and high. Have not tested the battery life (1 x AA), but don't expec...
