Works fine, but could be better

posted by dmshem on 03/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Does what it claims... it makes a good seal with the rim of my coffee mug, and keeps the contents nice and warm. (My mug has insulated sides, but it still cools quickly from evaporation.
    Cons:
The little blue devil on top is ugly. I with it was just a simple handle. Also, the blue devil pops out of the silicon disc to...

Works on my iPods and Blackberry

posted by dmshem on 03/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Works on my iPods (Nano2 and Video). Works on my Blackberry (8830) which is very demanding power-wise. Pretty decent price.
    Cons:
The plastic housing is a tad bulkier than it has to be. The 'flange' at the front does nothing, and just adds to the size. The...

    Amazingly bright light for $10!

posted by dmshem on 03/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very, very bright light. Works off a single AA battery. Forward clicky for momentary-on use.
    Cons:
Head and tail threads arrived dry (no lubrication). Orange tail cap is a little tacky, and doesn't even glow in the dark. Doesn...

    Mine is BRIGHT!

posted by dmshem on 02/01/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I've seen many people say how dim their light was, but mine is bright and white! Also, very light and compact for a CR123 clicky.
    Cons:
Not great build quality. Very thin body... extremely thin at the threads... mine had a sharp burr I had to sand off. Threads...

    Works fine, but not silver

posted by dmshem on 12/09/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Fits my camera fine (DSC-W1). Seems well made... aluminum, with good finish and smooth threads. A hell of a lot cheaper than buying from Sony.
    Cons:
Black finish, not silver as advetized.

    Works fine

posted by dmshem on 11/26/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    Great charger. Compact and efficient.
    Cons:
Would prefer if it had fold-out prongs, rather than cable, but still OK.

    Good one

posted by dmshem on 11/26/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Good travel size. Sturdy enough for most digital cameras. Well built.
    Cons:
Not as sturdy withe the legds extended... nothing really holds them in place other than friction.
