    Pros:
These watches are excellent quality, keep good time, comfortable to wear. Leather band is good quality, looks good.
    Cons:
I have so many great cheap watches now it's hard to decide which to wear! This one is different enough from my other one (sku....

    fantastic knife

    Pros:
I bought this one because of the cool coloured heat treated finish, something different to add to my collection. I wasn't expecting it to be such a good quality knife for the price.
    Cons:
The packaging was pretty average, but you take it out and throw the packaging away, right? It does have a cool trefoil on it (r...

    Excellent knife, good looking too

    Pros:
This is a great knife, it looks really classy with the polished blade and the wooden handle. It opens easily with the thumb knob, and once you have it slightly open you can swing it the rest of the way with a flick of your wrist - which always impresses th...
    Cons:
Nothing at all. This is a great knife.

    Pros:
pretty good optics, clear, easy to use mounting system works well and is solid. Easy to adjust the point of aim.
    Cons:
Could use a larger input lens for more light, but then it would be more expensive.

Nice little toy for the child or big kid

posted by drbadger on 06/06/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works well, is adjustable so you can use different size glasses of water. It kept going for days until the water level dropped below where the beak could reach. My kids loved it.
    Cons:
It is a little cheap looking, plastic, but what do you expect for the price. It is also fragile, it survived shipping ok, but ...

some pretty wooden chopsticks in a pouch

    Pros:
These are pretty painted wooden chopsticks. They come in a nice cloth pouch and look the goods, you get two pairs of chopsticks and two pouches for a cheap price.
    Cons:
I haven't actually used these to eat with, and I might be a bit cautious about what the paint composition is, who knows whether...

Good night time cycling glasses, not for day use!

posted by drbadger on 06/06/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I bought these for wearing while I ride home from work in the early evening. I can't wear tinted glasses, as they reduce my vision too much in the low light/dark. I want to wear glasses to keep the wind out of my eyes (at 40km/h it causes my eyes to water...
    Cons:
Not for wearing during the day as these have no significant UV reduction. They would be too bright to wear during the day anyw...

    Pros:
These are a decent quality steel chopstick. They are obviously hollow, as they don't weigh much. I've never actually used them to eat food though.
    Cons:
Nothing really, but as I mentioned, I didn't buy them for eating. Looking at the other reviews, and the item, I could see they...

    Great sports sunglasses

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These are (imitation?) Oakley glasses. They aren't polarised, but my UV testing showed they are as good as my polaroid branded glasses. Very light, tough, the lens clips in, so if you sit on them, it pops out rather than breaking bits off. Come with a de...
    Cons:
Nothing really, I don't really like the look of sports glasses, but I wear them riding to keep the wind out of my eyes, and the...

    decent cheap sun glasses

posted by drbadger on 06/06/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These are solidly built but very light, comfortable to wear, they don't have hooked arms, but sit well on my head. Metal frame so you can bend them a little to adjust the fit. They are polarised, and the UV protection is just as good as my polaroid branded ...
    Cons:
The arms can touch the inside of the lens then they are closed and in your pocket, these replaced my last glasses because of we...
