    Useful thingy

posted by failbooru on 04/10/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Regardless of the thinness (it is very thin and soft) it will easily keep the wind out of your neck and face. It is amazing how much this thin cloth can help when you ride in a chilly weather. It also can be a sweat rag or handkerchief, if you want it to.
    Cons:
I can't think of one. If the color of this one is not appealing to you, you can always choose another here on DX. It is not sup...

Good adapter, but not for Note 2

posted by failbooru on 04/07/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Looks neat and almost the same as stock Note 2 adapter (just a little smaller).
    Cons:
It can only output 1 A current. So it cannot charge Note 2 which require 2 amps. When I tried to charge, it went hot like hell ...

It can be used as cadence meter

posted by failbooru on 04/07/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It has backlight, which is not goes off while you ride. This is important actually, and I've seen speedometers which require you to push the light button every time. It also has stopwatch and some kind of timer (or distance limit), so you know when to stop ...
    Cons:
The backlight is activated by two buttons pressed at the same time. The mount is not very sturdy, I had to add a few drops of g...

    very not completely bad

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
First, it's a bluetooth mouse - so it does not require any dongle to work with any notebook, tablet or smartphone. Second, it has built-in li-ion rechargeable battery, so you don't have to buy any batteries. Li-ion is also better and more handy than Ni-MH b...
    Cons:
The mouse has noticeable lag when moving the cursor across the screen. Since there is almost the same mouse here on DX (SKU 307...

    useful thingy

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Well-built, strudy, powerful. The temperature control also means that the gun will not overheat when it has nothing to do - it will just automatically turn off. The glue sticks very well and fills hollows nicely. I even used it to fixate a sensor wire on my...
    Cons:
The temperature control is not easy to reach and turn when you are working. Also, because of the feeding lever design, if you p...

    Good product for the price

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This kickstand can easily be adjusted for the bike height and stand angle. It fits perfectly for 26" bike. It is slightly better than the stock stand mounted between the wheels: the bike stands firmly and don't wobble.
    Cons:
The stand is a little loose on its retracted position - it will shake on pebbles and such. It will not draw the all way to the ...

    Useful, but needs some glue

    Pros:
The reflectiveness is good for a sticker (a cat-eye is still better). It has hexagonal grid, handy when you want to cut it on size.
    Cons:
The adhesiveness is not too great. Enough to hold it in place on plain surfaces, but if you want to put it on your bike tubes i...

    Very tiny but comfortable

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The materials are good, the stitching is neat and the pattern is also okay with me. The design is for active pedaling: the sides are bent way down to avoid unnecessary contact with inner hips.
    Cons:
It looks way smaller than the normal saddle after installed on the bike - the coloring also makes it lighter and thinner. And i...

    We are very, very pleased

posted by failbooru on 08/27/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good and very smooth leather, neat stitch, nice color. Fits the 22mm bar exactly - almost no force is required to assembly.
    Cons:
It's smoothness may also cause your hands to gradully slip off the correct position when riding, especially if the grips are in...

Accurate, if you know how to use it

posted by failbooru on 08/17/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap and no mercury. You can't break it. And if you can, the worst outcome is that you are careless to the point when you crush bricks in your hands and probably cannot even touch a cellphone without breaking it.
    Cons:
Not waterproof. The display is very small and the button is hard to press.
