    Bright

posted by filekb on 06/17/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Bright. Low energy consumption. One of the brightest MR16 LED on DX.
    Cons:
A little on the white side. Absolutely not 3500k, but not as white as most of the LED seen here and I don't seen the blueish t...

    Bright

posted by filekb on 06/16/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Bright. White. Spotlight. Works with AC, doesn't seem to get hot either. Low energy use compared to the 20 watt bulb it replaced. Much brighter than the 20 watt bulb it replaced.
    Cons:
May be a little too white, but at least it doesn't look blue. (At least not yet, but it isn't dark out yet, so hopefully when i...

    Dog Collar

posted by filekb on 12/18/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to use. Has three different settings, always on, quickly flashing and slowly flashing. The purple LED isn't the brightest, but out in the dark it is easy to see. Good for keeping the dog in sight on those dark nights.
    Cons:
The collar is not really adjustable, just big enough for my Shihtzu's neck, won't fit a bigger dog. Actually, there is a little...

    Stainless multitool

posted by filekb on 12/18/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very inexpensive. Very small. Comes with its own carrying case. Several tools in one.
    Cons:
A little too small and a little too weak for the average job. More for hobbyist and smaller jobs. It has been well oiled, pro...

    Glowing green buttons

posted by filekb on 12/18/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Inexpensive, you get ten of these lettle things. They fit most of my flashlights from different manufacturers, but a couple of flashlights had lsightly different sizes and they just wouldn't quite fit properly and made it difficult to get on.
    Cons:
They have a little piece of green rubber in the center on the inside that may make it to tight for some flashlights - you may h...

    Trustfire 18650 protected 2400

posted by filekb on 12/18/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Reliable. Seem to hold the stated 2400mah, but I don't have any way to test them to find out for sure, but they do last longer than my 2400mah ultrafire blue 18650 batteries. Protected. Fit the flashlight well. Comes with a small plastic box to hold the...
    Cons:
Could be a little cheaper, but I guess you get what you pay for.

    Small and birght

posted by filekb on 12/16/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Small, easy to carry. Bright, as bright or brighter than many of my flashlights that are rated as having higher lumens than the 350 that this flashlight has. Comes with a carrying case that has a belt loop. Also comes with a lanyard.
    Cons:
I bought the same flashlight a year ago and it seems to be better quality than this one. The threads need lubrication and the ...

    Surprisingly Usefull

posted by filekb on 11/11/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
These beads are small, light and easy to carry anywhere you want to being them. They seem to actually work on UV and not just on the brightness of the light like some of the othe UV detectors I have tried. On a bright summer day I took the beads outside a...
    Cons:
Seems to be a little too sensitive. Good to tell you if there is UV, but not really usefull to tell you if it is moderate or h...

    Works as described

posted by filekb on 09/21/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Needed replacement lights for outdoor lighting (12v). These worked as advertised. Seem to last as long as the expensive store brands. Brightness appears to be the same as the originals they are replacing so stated wattage is correct.
    Cons:
None. Packaging a little flimsy but they all worked. Took several weeks to arrive, but with free shipping can't complain too ...

    Exactly as stated

posted by filekb on 09/21/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I had a solar powered sign with two 3mm LEDs, and one of the LEDs broke. Bought these 5 mm LEDs and replaced the two 3 mm with three of these 5 mm LEDs and now the sign has been working for over three months and is way brighter. All of the lights worked out...
    Cons:
A little hard to tell which is the positive and negative lead, but the positive is a little longer. Packaging could be a little...
