    Impressed

posted by flatpack on 11/03/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Feels like a quality product, strong and does not make your hands smell of rubber like normal tubes. Only time will tell if it resists punctures better, with winter coming I do hope so, will be buying another as my confidence is good. Does come with a ...
    Cons:
Blue valve may not suit everyone, valve body not threaded so not able to lock into wheel rim possible ingress of water around v...

Does the job, build quality not brilliant

posted by flatpack on 07/12/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Allows you to monitor battery condition and charge rate of alternator. Early warning of battery losing charge too quickly before it becomes an issue on a cold wet morning, never happens on a bright sunny day outside a garage.
    Cons:
It rattles ! suggesting no real quality control. Changes voltage display very quickly, rather than a smooth average read.

Good but could be so much better

posted by flatpack on 06/15/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good build quality echoed in the packaging, you even get a allen key for the mount. Very bright laser and some interesting modes on the LED light, should make cycling at night much safer. Good to have USB and mains chargers, one for home one for work.
    Cons:
No manual to tell you about charging times, no indicator to tell you when fully charged. If rechargeable cell is not protected...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Works very well, able to access all areas :-O, removes what it should and leaves a smoothish result.
    Cons:
A tad noisy so probably best done in solitary could be mistaken for another battery operated device......

Very bright but be aware of battery life

posted by flatpack on 01/12/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
VERY BRIGHT, like daylight through unlit woods on my bike commute, no need to ring bell to tell walkers I am coming, suddenly it is daylight behind them. Quality construction, solid O rings lubricated, feels heavy, threads good and tight, glass lens, lanya...
    Cons:
With only one battery pushing out this much light there is an issue with batter life, i estimate just over an hour on full, alt...

    Good product

posted by flatpack on 12/19/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
These type of brushes are very expensive in UK, and the quality/durability is not as good as these. The holder doubles up as a handle if required. The construction is very strong allowing repeated use and the brush stores away in the holder keeping it cle...
    Cons:
They sink in the water so just rinse don't soak or you will forget they are there and they disappear down the plug.

    Good back up light

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Great back up light, very bright certainly grabs attention of any cars following. At this price what more do you want ? My commute involves some mild off road and the light has handled this well together with some very wet journeys without problems. Battery...

    Good light for the price

posted by flatpack on 01/25/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Ideal as a back up light cheap and light and it comes with a fairly sturdy mount. I use it on flood setting when cycling through unlit woodland paths, helps to illuminate overhanging branches and anything nasty ahead.
    Cons:
When rotating to throw position the lens housing appears to become loose, it does not seem to affect the beam but is unnerving....
