Best light I've bought here so far!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Amazing quality for the meager sum they charge for it here. I would expect to pay 70-80 $USD for this light. Fully programmable and customizable, bright, reliable, excellent build quality (beefy ACME threads)......just overall amazing. I like these so much ...
    Cons:
Its hard to find any at this price....I guess the clicky is a bit hard to press, except with the pointy tip of your finger. The...

    Pros:
First off, this is a very well constructed flashlight. Nicely machined, good threads, flawless finish, all the good stuff. The P-60 drop in that is in it looks to be fairly well made (maybe not quite the quality of the 11836, but close) and also quite brigh...
    Cons:
The stock switch was hard to press. I think the little button under the rubber switch boot may have been trimmed a bit too shor...

Works well at an affordable price

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Does what it claims to. Lots of option as far as which frequency to set it to, and 10 memory presets. It can be used indoors with 2 AAA batteries, or in the car with the included cigarette lighter adapter
    Cons:
The cord is kind of short. Also, and this is a problem I've noticed with all of these units, the volume on your radio has to be...

    Pros:
This unit is very inexpensive, but well constructed for the price. Very simple, just plug into the lighter in your car, plug the other end into your MP3 player, tune your radio and you're set. No frills or fanciness on this unit. It just works.
    Cons:
The only real con, one that I've noticed with all these FM transmitters, is that the volume is kinda low, and you really have t...

A real high-toned looking and feeling kinda light

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This light feels very expensive and solid. I feel like I should be slipping it into the pocket of my tuxedo in case the power goes out at the wine tasting exhibition or something. Really high quality for the price. I've bought lights that were twice the pri...
    Cons:
The threads are a bit loose, but I don't expect it to cause any stripping problems, as it is good ol' stainless steel. It does ...

Replacement for a previous defective unit

posted by frankiej on 03/22/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Wonderfully bright and good build quality for the price. It's brighter than my SF 6P. It's amazing that $14.60 can buy this much of a flashlight. It would be a bargain at 50% more even.
    Cons:
Considering the price, nothing really. The switch seems a bit flimsy, and it's not really SF quality, but at the price, no compl...

    Great light....while it worked!

posted by frankiej on 03/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very bright when it worked properly. Well constructed. If it worked properly, it would be a lot of light for the money.
    Cons:
When I first turned it on, I was greeted with a wonderful, bright beam spilling from the bezel. This lasted for approximately 5...
