    Serious QC issues.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Neat idea, having a small picture frame that changes with you all the time. 3 buttons are intuitive and easy to understand. Software works pretty well. Doesn't need drivers.
    Cons:
Needs a proprietary image format, low res LCD. The first unit I had wouldn't connect to a PC, the second unit won't hold a c...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
VERY solid construction, no way this thing is going to break. Not too heavy either, fits in your pocket nicely.
    Cons:
Some of the surface that rests against your palm is rough and may break your skin after a good punch. If you have small hands, ...

The latch snags sometimes, preventing it from opening.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Easy to understand menus and use. Pretty decent sound quality for a walkie. Good build quality. Removable belt clip. Manual written in good English! (whoa!)
    Cons:
We tested to see how far these could work in a residential setting. My friend got 0.3 KM from me before we couldn't talk anymor...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The first time I turned it on, I blinded myself it was so bright.
    Cons:
Build quality is poor, the mechanism that keeps the light in position feels like it's going to break.

    It's a glowing snowball!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It looks so pretty! The new model has a push switch, so when it's sitting on a flat surface all you have to do is gently touch the top of the ball to light it up.
    Cons:
It doesn't actually do anything except look pretty... Cycling modes is a little confusing.

    Works really well!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The construction of the flashlight is solid and doesn't feel cheap at all. Not that humans can see IR, but it is extremely bright. Wrist strap included.
    Cons:
Clicky switch on the back feels a little soft and, well, not very "clicky".

Not quite like a real controller, but close!

posted by glassx on 07/26/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is incredibly useful for playing emulators on the PC with friends! Windows and Project64 recognize this controller without drivers or configuration.
    Cons:
Build quality isn't that good, some of the buttons are a little hard to press, and the D pad feels a little squishy. Not really...

    Whoa, bright!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
3 LED's light up the keyboard or paper next to your laptop nicely. The wire is stiff enough to hold itself in position, but not so bendy that it's hard to twist.
    Cons:
The plastic near the LED's get a little hot duing use, probably because of a resistor.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's really, really, REALLY bright. Pops balloons!
    Cons:
Slightly poorer build quality. There was a little bit of fluff or cotton stuck in the tip of mine I had to pull out with tweezers.
