Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    * Extremely small * Motion sensor is effective * Light is good enough for small area * Comes with hook-and-loop fastener tape * Use with NiMH batteries - can recharge with included cable

    Over-rated, but good enough

posted by hatallica on 12/14/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It is simple, small, and useful for a variety of inputs.
    Cons:
Like most audio amplifiers, it is wildly over-rated. The remote control can only be used up to perhaps 3 meters (10 feet). ...

    Good look, feel, function

posted by hatallica on 12/14/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Looks and feels very sturdy and durable, almost like armor! Maybe not everyone likes the simple style, but I do. Size is very compact. Memory capacity is exactly as advertised.
    Cons:
None for me, but price seems to have increased slightly since my purchase in July.

    Very good value

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Overall quality is almost as good as the professional tools that I used to use. Three good tweezers for a very low price.
    Cons:
Small imperfections in how the tips line-up. Truly a small complaint, but this is the difference with the professional-grade t...

    Useful and effective

posted by hatallica on 07/17/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
More convenient, safer, and more effective than solutions such as hot-glue. Stores well - there were several months between uses, but the product still in the tube was like new.
    Cons:
None - does what it says.

    Pros:
Who doesn't like to shoot rubber bands? It makes you feel like a school kid, playing with silly things.
    Cons:
Build quality is a bit rough, but it does not seem to seriously affect performance. You will need to find a supply of rubber b...

    Pros:
    * Simple, small, and effective. * 5.5x2.1 connector may be used on many other DX items (I am powering sku.101824 right now).
    Cons:
None - it does what it should.

    Funny for kids

posted by hatallica on 07/17/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Worked flawlessly, pulling coins of all normal sizes. Even stacking coins 2 or 3 high was often successful. The noise and movement are cute for little kids (and child-like adults).
    Cons:
None, really, unless you were expecting a simple and practical bank.

    All-purpose audio

posted by hatallica on 07/17/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    * USB and SD inputs - listen to hours of your own music. * Audio Line input - I connected my TV audio output. * FM radio includes auto-tuning feature * 4 speaker outputs allows me to use the old speakers from my broken bookshelf stereo.
    Cons:
    * Remote control range is less than 3 meters (10 feet). * Volume is drastically different when changing from FM radio to Audio...

    Useful Tool for Specific Applications

posted by hatallica on 09/29/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    * Good for working on plastic enclosures for circuit prototypes. Holes can be easily cleaned up or expanded. * Pieces fit nicely and it feels solidly built. * Edges are sharp enough to create smooth holes.
    Cons:
    * Handle could be longer for a more stable grip. Maybe the cover could attach to the back of the handle?
