Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Price: you get 4 18650 batteries in a package, a charger and a watertight unit with a xml-t6 for a price just $ 15 over that of a flashlight off the same quality. I always use it a a headlight and for that use it is very practical because one has his hands...
    Cons:
It is a pity that the cable from light to batterypack runs from the front side and not from the backside. I am 1,94 m long and...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It is small but very sturdy. Gives a lot of light with the xml.Fits easily in any pocket. Regarding the price its a flashlight that you want to have stand by for safety reasons. In your car, in a cupboard in your bedroom or somewhere near the backdoor in ca...
    Cons:
If you use it for the above mentioned reasons there is hardly any con but ofcourse it gets very hot on high. So use middle mode...

Was I curious about this one!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
If there is one single led flashlight that gives you 1000 lumen it must be this uniquefire. Incredible lot of light. The strap is long enough to let large hands in. It is a combination of a thrower - nice, very bright hotspot - and a flooder. Although I d...
    Cons:
No lubrication of the threads that is dissapointing. Much more dissapointing however is de low mode! It is really low, perhaps...

DX you amaze me! Within a week.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The biggest pro is ofcourse the speed of delivery. That UK department started packing the next day already. This relatively cheap flashlight can compete with all the others. 5 modes need modememory and this torch has that. It is one of the smallest and lig...
    Cons:
I cannot think of any cons. Of course after a couple of days one cannot judge over lifetime issues.

    the brightest yet

posted by hobertshof on 04/14/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It is a lightweight torch. It is a very bright thrower, compared to the other 6 xm-l flashlights that I have tried-out up to now this one is the brightest of them all.! Gets hot very fast which means good heatsinking.
    Cons:
Does not tailstand, Gets really hot after 10 minutes because of high brightness/3000mah? The housing and threads don't feel ve...

Could be a brake-through if only!

posted by hobertshof on 01/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The light is really warm-white and can replace any "sfere" light bulb up to 40 watt incandescent, while using only some 4 watts. Compared with energy-saving bulbs your energybill is cut by half. Fits well in E27.
    Cons:
One out of three collapsed. Probably due to a failure of the driver. The bulb now only gives 10% of its original light. I am ob...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This torch is really something special.Has a perfect beam and reaches very far. Compared with sscp7 (mte, spiderfire and ultrafire) is has at least 1,5 time the lumen and a better throw.
    Cons:
It is heavy 931 grams!!!!and does not balance well. It is too big really. Runtime is restricted inspite of 3 batteries. It has ...

    the best for the moment

posted by hobertshof on 03/08/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I have bougth 4 different types of P7 1x18560 and compared with the others this one is not only smaller/lighter it also produces the nicest (white) light. I very much like the size of the spiderfire. For daily use it has the best measurements of all. The q...
    Cons:
For people who prefer beam over flood this flashlight may not be best as it has a bit - only a bit - wider beam.
