    Tiny yet powerful

posted by inielsen on 03/16/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very tiny, not much larger than the AAA (twisty switch helps with that). Seems well made and sturdy (for its size). Surprisingly bright (using a lithium AAA) and very nice/even flood light (approx 130 degree).
    Cons:
The twist-to-on is tight, a woman might have trouble turning it on one-handed.

    Sleek and elegant

posted by inielsen on 01/14/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very elegant, fits nicely everywhere. No 'cooling fins' just for show (has been on for almost an hour using a lithium cell, no overheating). Robust, survived submersion and being thrown repeatedly. Uses AA batteries. With a lithium AA cell it is surprisingl...
    Cons:
    * No zoom-optics. Only throw. * It is assembled by screwing the parts/cylinders into each other by threads. If they are out of...

Sturdy and bright lantern that looks good

posted by inielsen on 06/09/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    * It is very sturdy: Good aluminum, well processed. * The light spread is even! Good diffuser. * Very bright (note that it falls off very quickly - as all unfocused light sources does). * Uses AA batteries.
    Cons:
    * The diffuser is bright and blinding. This is unavoidable, but a friend I showed it to complained that he was unable to ignore...

    Great watch

posted by inielsen on 03/29/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Really sturdy watch, I was surprised at the build quality. I checked for nickel (in case of allergy), but every part checks out ok.
    Cons:
A little thick and slightly larger than *I* prefer, but within acceptable limits.

    Works fine

posted by inielsen on 03/07/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good build quality, if it wasn't for the logo and the "JJC" logo I would have thought it was Canon. Work as expected (well, its an extension cable). Springs/contacts seems to be good quality.
    Cons:
A little thight/hard to insert. At first the flash didn't fire (even though it did zoom when I changed focal length on the lens...
