    Working as designed

posted by jaygeeknz on 03/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This bike mount operates as designed. Now I can use GPS while riding my bike, without having to get a dedicated GPS unit.
    Cons:
The carrier was very hard to insert into the bar mount part. I have broken several DX windscreen mounts when trying to insert t...

    Good light for dark roads

posted by jaygeeknz on 03/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Nice focused beam for dark roads. AA batteries are easy to find & replace.
    Cons:
Beam too focused for daytime flashing and/or city streets at night. Not enough stray light to alert other motorists. Can't use ...

    This thing is BRIGHT!

posted by jaygeeknz on 03/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This light is incredibly bright. I can see reflective signs light up 2 blocks away in broad daylight. When riding home in the dark, oncoming cars dip their lights as they see me approaching. In Mode 3 (Flashing, Bright) any driver in front of me has no excu...
    Cons:
The handlebar mount is too loose - rubber loops don't hold it firmly in place. Would prefer a clip mechanism, also so it would ...

    Perfect Media Center remote

posted by jaygeeknz on 07/04/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This MC remote is perfect for my home media center PC, which runs on Linux. I had no problems at all - the parts were all intact, the reception is great, and the product works very well, perhaps even better than described. The track ball is suitably sensit...
    Cons:
    No cons at all.

    Perfect!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These pressure reading valve caps are great! I've had them on for quite a while and they are very accurate. No reason to not recommend them. Just make sure you get the right set for the pressure your tyres need, otherwise you might end up showing Orange/Red...
    Cons:
No "Cons" to speak of with these little things.

    Adequate

posted by jaygeeknz on 07/04/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Price, of course. Also looks like genuine product. Not sure it's a full Class 10 speed product, but it's pretty good - better than the other cheap (and not so cheap) Micro SD I've bought over the years. I've got it in my mobile phone at the moment and have ...
    Cons:
Not sure it's running at full Class 10 speed
