    Very bright, wide beam

posted by jeroenbreg on 11/24/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright light, spreading a wide beam. Nice warm white color, not blue-ish at all. Doesn't get hot, low energy consumption. Switches off immediately, no "afterglow". Good price.
    Cons:
None found, really. It might be a bit weird to see all the LEDs sticking out a few millimeter when looking at it from the side.

    Good cable, really thin

posted by jeroenbreg on 10/30/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Really thin and flexible cable, speed is decent; I tested it at full length and got 330Mbps (~35MB/s). Fits between the floor and the wall, so is easy to hide for the eye.
    Cons:
Gets damaged pretty easily, I cut the cable to make it two smaller ones, but the heads are hard to install because the inner ca...

Great value for money, some techspecs inside!

posted by jeroenbreg on 06/10/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Small but useful device, plays FM-radio and MP3's nicely and at good quality. Supports FAT16 & 32, so should work with 8GB or up too (4GB confirmed). Works at 5V (I made it USB powered). Remote control is a nice addition.
    Cons:
No ID3/file name display (files display as numbers). No shuffle play (despite what specs imply, see "Other thoughts")...
