    Durable, easy to install, perfect

posted by jwardell on 11/22/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
With glass on the front and back, you can not feel which side is correct on an iphone. This gives you a slightly textured back that is easy to feel, as well as preventing the back from getting scratched when placed on a surface. Installation took 30 seconds...
    Cons:
Only plastic, so don't go hammering rocks with your phone. No diffuser for camera LED so it is a bit brighter and sharper.

    Really works, with many games

posted by jwardell on 10/09/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Solid very heavy metal! Suction cup grabs iPad screen very well and stays. Works with almost every game I had that had a D-pad control. Much more natural game play.
    Cons:
I wonder if the foam will wear away over time (but at this price, just get another). If the foam did wear away, I could imagine...

    well designed clippers

posted by jwardell on 10/09/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Great little clippers collapse so they are more portable than standard clippers. Extra leverage makes them stronger with less effort. Similar to clippers i have seen advertised for $40!!! Not flimsy at all.
    Cons:
Small size means these are better for fingers than toes. I wish there was a wider version of these!

    Great bright flashlight

posted by jwardell on 07/15/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Very bright flashlight at a good price, I bought this as it seems to be the first 900-lumen flashlight to be affordable. Three modes easily switched with a light half press of the button. Dim mode perfectly suitable for long duration use saving battery. Ful...
    Cons:
Nothing so far. Many of my other DX flashlights had drivers die quickly, but so far so good with this one. Requires unusual si...

Works well, bright, easy to use

posted by jwardell on 03/31/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
The size is actually larger than I expected, LEDs are bright and easy to read. Easily programmed. Physically just what I was looking for to put in my car window.
    Cons:
Not quick to switch messages (and not in the instructions): Press RUN, then stored message number, then Enter. People see P:1 w...

    Bright, use as ring flash

posted by jwardell on 07/19/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Nice and bright. Measures 140mA at 12v. Includes removable adapter for some auto bulb sockets.
    Cons:
Thin wires might not be durable enough for mobile application.

    Nice cheap soft case

posted by jwardell on 07/19/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very nice soft touch feel to this case. Easily fits on the iphone 4, may or may not be too loose, but that makes it very easy to install and remove in a second. Holes line up, buttons all work perfectly.
    Cons:
May be too loose fit for some people. Visible mold lines.

    Great bright white strip

posted by jwardell on 04/21/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is an impressively bright strip, and surprised it only takes about 350mA around 12.5v, so it is fairly efficient. Heatsink is included for light use and easier mounting.
    Cons:
Max voltage is 12.5V so if you plan to run this from your car, you need to reduce the voltage a bit (probably why other reviews...

    Great LED bulb

posted by jwardell on 04/12/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
More powerful than I thought, probably equivalent to a 40w bulb. Still cooler color temperature than incandescent but decent. I like this design that uses small surface mount LEDs and a small bulb size over the older ones that used the larger through hole L...
    Cons:
Color balance will not match if combined with incandescents. Output not strong enough to replace regular 60 watt bulbs.

Excellent way to hang your camera

posted by jwardell on 04/12/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I always like the idea of the goby gorillapod but as I only use SLRs, I didn't want to spend the big bucks on their SLR version. Here you are getting exactly that for a much more reasonable price. Has no problem hanging my SLR and heaviest lens from a pole...
    Cons:
Action is not as smooth as it could be, but I'm not sure the real one is either.
