    Cons:
very low build quality: my unit had the calibration button shorted on the PCB, so I had to take it apart and fix it (soldering ...

posted by katletz on 11/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
First I tried it with my bluray player, sat receiver and TV with HDMI cables. No problem up to 1080p (maybe I had some bad pixels showing, maybe this was because I didn't use an external power supply). Anyway, you wouldn't notice a meter away from the scree...
    Cons:
Included power supply would have been great (but not needed).

    It works for me

posted by katletz on 06/24/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I had the problem that I couldn't establish a connection between my laptop and access point (asusdeluxe wl-500g) in some rooms (very thick stone walls). This little amplifier gives enough oomph to have a reception even in the remotest corner of the flat.
    Cons:
    None so far.

    Cons:
    - Does not play AC3 audio, mp3 works. - ntfs support would have been nice.

    nice little card reader

posted by katletz on 01/25/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I had to get a new card reader because the old one didn't support SDHC. I think this one - is cheap - looks ok - reads all cards I ever came across - small enough to take it with you wherever you go
    Cons:
You get what you pay for: the USB connector is displaced a little bit. The included USB cable is the worst I ever tried to use....
