Excellent bit of card and money clip

posted by liamjford on 11/18/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Carry just the minimum in yours pockets. I used to carry a thin leather card holder with a cash clip on the back, but this is even slimmer. I hate having bulky pockets, so this is perfect. Others mentioned scratches or sharp edges, but mine was fine. Doesn'...
    Cons:
I had to bend the 'arms' that hold the cards from the side, in a little, no biggy.

Much cheaper than replacing fried PC parts!

posted by liamjford on 02/03/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
If you've ever worked on your PC (even just adding an internal CD drive) without static protection you will know the worry that you will fry something just by touching it - with this simply connect yourself to a ground point and poke around until you are bo...
    Cons:
Cord not massively long, but put your work bench next to a ground point and it is fine.

    Cons:
    Erm, none.

Great USB sound card - won't work on Wii though

posted by liamjford on 01/20/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Simple and cheap. Simply plug into a PC (or some linux machines) and works instantly - adding audio in and out. Works well with PC for 'Ultra Star' singing game, to give a second soundcard for a second player
    Cons:
Won't work with Wii - but didn't say it would. I had hoped it would though

Pros! Well no more getting soaked cos it's raining when you want to cycle to work No more trying to hold an umbrella and cycle at the same time I've fitted this to my 'shoppping' bike - the one i use for short journeys, and it's brilliant. You do look a ...

    LOOOOONNNNG battery life!

posted by liamjford on 09/07/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent little LEDs - the blinking rate is OK - could be faster or briefer but, it will do. I fix one to my bike or to my helmet and turn it on for the dark part of my journey. So far (getting roughly 1 hour or a little less of use per day) these have las...
    Cons:
The switch is a little fiddly and small - but that is it. Apart from that this is excellent.

    Pros:
I bought a couple of these to round the price up, and thought they would come in useful somewhere... I gave one to my girlfriend who thought it was a bit silly. But then came home that night admitting that it was really useful for rooting around her handbag...

OMG - get one, they are bright!

posted by liamjford on 12/14/2007 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent! I was wondering what everyone was going on about with these. They are really nicely built, good weight to them, REALLY bright and run (for a good while) on a single AA. So bright can see my veins/bones in my fingers with this.
    Cons:
    None I can think of?
