Does well, even when it shouldn't

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These batteries are affordable, and have tollerated intentional electrical abuse (over-charge/discharge) without incident.
    Cons:
Self-discharge rate slightly higher than is desireable, but not enough to discourage repeat purchase.

I take that back, it is utterly useless

    Pros:
(as stated before) My colleagues nolonger bother me for solder wire.
    Cons:
(as stated before) Absurd level of impurity; Even the smallest joint produced dross that needs scraping off with a hot iron. T...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These have yet to fray apart and drop a live wire onto my hand causing electrical burns and much cursing, unlike the ones that originally came with my meter. The resitance of these leads are less than the resolution of my poor multimeter (<0.1?), and appe...
    Cons:
The probe ends make an unpleasant crunching noise when pressed too hard. (Really.) The wires are unmarked. No threadded barre...

    Works

    Pros:
C7/C8 connectors are not only for PS3, I bought this for use with the Soshine U1 4-Channel Quick Charger (sku.06194) and it has done its job nicely. The switch provides positive tactile feedback, and has an audible 'click' when actuated. Though the seams ...
    Cons:
The switch, while providing positive tactile feedback, does feel a bit soft. Only one of the two lines are actually switched, ...

    Works well

    Pros:
This is a smart charger that does appear to detect the charge state of all batteries independantly, and will 'top off' the batteries as they cool/self discharge. The automatic cutoff seems to detect most faults and will halt charging the affected cell auto...
    Cons:
The error/fault detection seems to occasionally crash the controller, resulting in a disconcerting tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tic...

Not as good as had been hoped

    Pros:
This cost only a fifth of the cost of the genuine Panasonic Battery, and less than a third of the aftermarket retail alternative. It did install and operated perfectly, without incident during the first couple of weeks.
    Cons:
Unfortunately the honeymoon was short lived, and this battery very quickly developed severe a memory problem. At least once a w...

    Cheap and effective

    Pros:
With this I am able to be a complete b***ard with the solder; I just drop a blob of what I have scraped off of the workbench on to my PCB with a thin film of this brushed on, and with a broad sweep of the iron my board is perfectly tinned. Even when I have...
    Cons:
This is a sticky, unpleasant material to handle. It requires the use of solvent or severe heat to remove. Farily certain that t...

It works, but could work better.

    Pros:
Simple and effective. I use my work knife for and axe to split wire, plastic, sheet metal and fibreglass; in an environment rife with burning metals, acids and moisture. With this tool I was able grind out the rolls and chips in my blade and keep it in a st...
