    Decent Cable

posted by maxexcloo on 03/31/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Build quality is decent and the cable allows a user to play 480p quality videos and games from a PSP on a large screen TV (some plugins are needed for some games however).
    Cons:
Build quality is, as above, decent. It could be better but for the price is good. The video output doesn't appear to fill my Sa...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Came formatted as FAT32 which worked great on my PSP 1000 via a DealExtreme memory stick adapter (https://www.dealextreme.com/p/17789). Seems to be genuine and came in the official packaging. Write speeds and access times are awesome for the price and it ...
    Cons:
None, the product is pretty much exactly what I needed.

    Surprisingly Good!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is a very clever and innovative product that saved me from having to buy pricey Sony Memory Sticks! Transfer speeds are great and access times low, build quality is also great and the price is just awesome for such a product :P
    Cons:
Build quality could be slightly better but for the price it's awesome and doesn't leave anything to be desired!

    Fixed Power Issues

posted by maxexcloo on 03/31/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to install in my PSP 1000 (if you know how to disassemble a PSP that is :P). Fixed the faulty power connector issues that were preventing my PSP from charging, they were a real headache :|
    Cons:
Requires some knowledge to install but isn't too hard overall, ask a friend with DIY knowledge if you need help!

    Good Replacement

posted by maxexcloo on 03/31/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good replacement to an old or broken joypad on the PSP 1000. Works nicely (I can't tell the difference to stock) and is accurate and smooth. Can be used for external joypad mods such as motion sensors (an old one I made is here: https://www.youtube.com/watc...
    Cons:
Fiddly to install, getting good contacts can take a while (to fix this just disassemble and reassemble a couple of times, makin...

Fixed WiFi Issues On My PSP

posted by maxexcloo on 03/31/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Easy to install, provided great signal quality, pretty much identical to the stock WiFi antenna. Can also be wired to be external to the PSP with some hardware hacks. Works much better then my old broken WiFi antenna :P
    Cons:
Cable is a tiny bit too long but this isn't much of an issue in practice if wired correctly (find a guide on the internet).

    Perfect

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Contains every screw needed to fully assemble a PSP 1000 back to a factory like state! I lost some when fixing my PSP and this kit helped me ensure that all the parts were securely fastened and fixed.
    Cons:
It would be nice if it had separate bags for each type of screws or some form of diagram to help tell a user where each screw g...

    Works Well!

posted by maxexcloo on 03/31/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Great cable that allows your PC to be charged and accessed as a storage device at the same time (for PSP 1000s only, newer PSPs don't require this type of cable!) Data speeds seem to be good and the connection seems stable. No data corruption!
    Cons:
Cable is a little flimsy but still solid enough for good daily use. Link between main cable and USB/power is a bit short, could...

    Cheap & Useful

posted by maxexcloo on 03/31/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Solid HDMI cable that features a clean, simple design that doesn't obstruct ports. Transmits well from laptops to HD HDMI enabled TVs with full 1080p resolution and sound!
    Cons:
Cable can be a bit temperamental (signal drops in and out unless cable is wobbled around a bit) but this isn't a major issue. T...
