    Great Gadget

posted by mistraller on 11/23/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It runs with little light. Office light is enough to turn the table. Nice gadget, it attracts people (the will look batteries etc)
    Cons:
It cannot take haevy loads, motor is not strong. Don't drop it onto the ground, the item is rather fragile.

    Great device!

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Sturdy design. Strong metal, no loose parts inside. Just a bunch of power :). Usage is very simple, plug and charge. Sturdy carrying case (which is a good idea because it is a heavy charger, dropping it is not a good idea for your wooden floor, or for the i...
    Cons:
It won't charge my Nokia phones with the Y cable. It will only charge them with the roll-up cable (included) Not sure why, may...

    Pros:
At first sight, it looks like exactly like the original HTC package and labels. Long enough, en build quality looks ok. But then....
    Cons:
I disconnected the original HTC desire cable, and replaced it by this cable. (I ordered 2). Both cables do NOT work as datacabl...

    Great size! Perfect protector

posted by mistraller on 03/02/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
These protectors are great, nobody will doubt that. But what I especially like with this protector, is the size. Most of my phones have 2.8 inch size. If you buy a 2.8 inch protector, you will still see the edge of the protector. But when you replace the sc...
    Cons:
The cleaning cloth is not very soft, I threw it away immediately.

    Handy but pricy

posted by mistraller on 02/23/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Bucket is easy to use, can be folded very flat, and build quality is ok. Bottom is flat, plastic, metal carry handle. 9 litres is just enough so size is ok. After filling the bucket, it stands stable, the bucket won't collapse, because of the waterpressure,...
    Cons:
To be sure, I left water in it for one hour. It was not completely watertight. There was a small amount of water leaking throug...

    Acceptable quality

posted by mistraller on 02/22/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It's a cheap replacement for my expensive camera, which had a plastic mount, which broke after a while. This item is more sturdy, and is not expensive.
    Cons:
The swivel is not very tight, it must be tightened with an extra piece of plastic, tape or something. Otherwise it keeps droppi...

    Pros:
Just a useful device, design is just what it should be; stylish. Works as espected, automatically detected and usb2.0. Small, metal housing. Looks better than many other hubs.
    Cons:
The led is too bright, My USB port is powered all the time, so even if my computer is powered off, the led is on. Does not con...

    Pros:
It works. I tested this with a PDA (Qtek S200). This PDA needs about 300mA before the actual charge cyclus is started. You can feel it very good on the crank; first of all it's not so tough, but after the PDA starts charging (2 seconds after the charging le...
    Cons:
The led should switch of after a device is connected. This power could better used for charging. Build quality is OK, but the m...

    Great device

posted by mistraller on 07/30/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I tested it with a new Prepaid phone, sony ericsson j132. It works as a charm! No need to cut simcard, just gently slide it in, power on the phone, and off you go. Never knew it could be that simple, and cheap to unlock a phone. Especially for a cheap phon...
    Cons:
It felt that the phone was a little, little bit slower. Not sure about that.
