Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
MIL-DOT reticle in the first focal plane with a parrallax adjustment. Good quality optics giving a bright clear image (much better than my cheap 60x spotting scope) Nice solid feel to all adjustments, and comes with a decent set of rings. Large objective g...
    Cons:
Only one - the cap over the tension spring tends to rattle loose. It took me a while to work out why it was jumping about, but ...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Great universal mount for anything that doesn't have to point in exactly the right direction (ie torches, not lasers etc)
    Cons:
Really need a few different sizes.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good light in a small package. Throws about 150 metres.

Gets pretty warm on full power, but not too hot to use. High mode cuts out after some seconds when the tailcap is screwed on f...

    Good bipod for the price

posted by mnix1 on 11/01/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Good construction of the legs and mechanism. Nice solid/heavy feel for its size. The block which screws to the stock is plastic which keeps things light when the bipod is removed, and was easy to work when I modified it to better fit my stock.
    Cons:
The thread which screws into the stock should be at least twice as long, and better quality. I didn't get enough thread into t...

    Good small arms scope

posted by mnix1 on 10/04/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
A nice scope with a good solid feel to it. Turrets have nice audible click as they are turned, and are marked in MOA. Reticle is MIL-DOT in the first focal plane, with a parallax adjustment. Takes one CR2032 battery (easy to find) for the illuminator.
    Cons:
Haven't noticed any one the scope, but I now need a bipod to take full advantage of the scope.

    Good cheap sound card

posted by mnix1 on 03/02/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works under linux with any recent kernel, Nice small size, though it could have had the usb port offset from centre so you can plug other devices in alongside it.
    Cons:
The microphone input is mono only - there's no physical connection for stereo recording.
