Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
These are very nice snippers for small electronic parts. They are sharp and can get in places no other cutters I have had. They have a good cutting tip, so you don't need to work the wire all the way into the mout of the scissors, just the small tips will do
    Cons:
Well, if you exceed what these can cut, it's game over. I have bought a total of 3 from DX and two of them snapped in two at th...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
They're okay. It's tough to get really good earphones on DX. The photos are never really accurate. These are okay headphones
    Cons:
I'm not sure why the say "noise isolating" What does that mean? It seems as if it's supposed to sound like "noise cancelling" b...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap and a nice size. I've been using this as a paring knife for months now and it works very well. It's the sharpest knife I have and I didn't have to sharpen it or anything when I got it. I use it about every day to do basic kitchen paring knife stuff a...
    Cons:
    none really

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Well I was sceptical as to whether it was durable, it really is. Make no mistake you can actually use this as advertised for some time I'm sure.
    Cons:
There are better hand exercisers out there. Not at DX, but there are others which are useful for all your fingers. This donut t...

    nice package

posted by napier on 01/15/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very clean looking device, appears to not leak so much gas as I was able to use it without refill after some months of non-use
    Cons:
The controls are tricky! The sparker is on the bottom of the device , I didn't know that and thought for a while that it was li...

    Nice package

posted by napier on 01/15/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheapest and smallest USB 5v adapter. Though since I bought this DX has released a two-port black one which I might have gone for otherwise.
    Cons:
It's not a REAL 5v adapter from apple. It's an imitation. The case only appears very close to the Apple one. The internals are ...

    Worth it for sure

posted by napier on 01/15/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
A lot of the other cables are of poor quality, too big or kind of a ugly knock off. This is closest to be the real thing and it is cheaper than 10-20$
    Cons:
One was defective. I didn't bother with calling it in as it wasn't worth the trouble to wait, etc, had to fix with a soldering ...

    Pretty Good

posted by napier on 01/15/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Pretty good, looks like the real thing with all the features. Not terribly cheap. I haven't seen the real thing, but this does not appear to be a clone, but a real OEM unmarked version
    Cons:
Little unreliable. The little cap came apart when it took it out of the package, it wasn't glued enough. I fixed it. Also, one ...

    Good Bell

posted by napier on 04/24/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Good price - Compass/bell both work as you might expect such a thing to work - easy to install -easy to use
    Cons:
None really, works better than the old bell I had on it that was bought for probably twice as much. The compass seems a little...

    Great stuff

posted by napier on 04/24/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - works - well-made enough - cheap - nothing else to say other than that you don't need gold-plating
    Cons:
None really, i suppose you could pay 100x more money to get a monster cable. I guess it's cheaply made, but really how can you ...
