    Cute matchstick

posted by octagonalman on 11/20/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cute accessory, it's a matchstick with a rubber flame shaped hat. Flashes different colours when there's an incoming or outgoing call. Comes packaged exactly as pictured.
    Cons:
Nothing much to say about this matchstick. There's not much wrong with this product.

    Cute foam cake

posted by octagonalman on 11/20/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The cake is made out of a very soft foam, like those memory foam pillows. It's nice to poke, it's not a dry foam. When you touch it, it will leave an imprint and then rise up again into its original shape. The cake also has a sweet smell, it smells a bit c...
    Cons:
Quite large for a phone accessory and it comes with a chain, not a string, so you can't really attach it to your phone anyway. ...

    Apple

posted by octagonalman on 11/20/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Looks pretty much like the picture; comes with paperclip, mesh, sticker base and memo pad. The memo pad has a fabric mesh glued along the spine, so all the pages should stay stuck together well.
    Cons:
Doesn't seem very useful to have as a memo pad unless you leave it flat. It's probably more of a display item. The stem is glu...

    Burger

posted by octagonalman on 11/20/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
I got a burger. Someone else said they got three burgers. Perhaps DX only stocks the burger variety of this product. I stuck some eyes on my burger. It looks a little plain without a face.
    Cons:
It's just a plain memo pad, not a sticky-note pad. I like sticky-notes better, they seem more useful to me... The notepad fell...

    durable compact reader

posted by octagonalman on 09/05/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Made of hard plastic. Small size and easy to slip into even a wallet pocket. Feels like it is a good-quality item. Nice matte finish to housings. Purported to read M2 as well as microSD but I've only tested it with the latter.
    Cons:
The price is rather high but this could be a reflection of the quality - I wanted to try something better than sku.6108 which i...

    Design flawed

posted by octagonalman on 08/03/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's certainly a good idea - USB connector can be protected from the elements and you can use a microSD card of your choice. Small and easy to carry. Modular design allows something similar to sku.6108 to be extracted if the housing is compromised. The read...
    Cons:
Design flaw may force you to use it like sku.6108. The rounded edge does not permit the USB connector to be fully inserted into...

    Fast but fragile

posted by octagonalman on 08/03/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
1/10th of the cost of my 2004 unit and a fair bit faster too. Translucent body. Funky colours. Very affordable
    Cons:
This unit can be quite easy to break. The housing is snap-on and doesn't really offer any rigidity to the unit. I accidentally...
