    Best for cycling

posted by ofsilence on 10/15/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
By far that's the best flashlight I've had for cycling. It makes the spot on the road of just right size - about 30cm (~1 foot) wide so it looks bright (not dispersed over the large area) and at the same time enough to see everything that would go under you...
    Cons:
Absolutely none. Would be nice to get rid of these annoying blinking modes, but for some reason there are no such cheap drivers...

    Excellent!

    Pros:
Holds VERY tight, accepts wide range of flashlight diameters. Holds my XM-L flashlight with 26650 battery (pretty heavy!) very well, no slipping from original position at any road conditions. Doesn't allow to turn the flashlight in horizontal plane (left-ri...
    Cons:
A bit pricey in comparison to other holder offers, that's why I gave 4 stars for price. But it holds awesome in comparison to t...

    Very good

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I got >2000 mAh at first cycle from all 4 batteries! I measured by AccuPower IQ328 smart charger. Diameter is close to standard alkaline battery - they fit my "line 6 relay G50" bodypack transceiver (guitar wireless system) just fine (sometimes...
    Cons:
No cons at all. Could have the batteries box included, but it's not a problem.

    Great replacement for 30W halogen

    Pros:
Cheap! Its color is warm, somewhere in the middle between 2700K and 4200K CFL - the most comfortable for me. Light is somewhat focused - the beam on the floor is about 1.5 meters.
    Cons:
Doesn't have the background spill. Not a con for most applications.

    Good, but only after modification

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Convenient, small enough, zooming, with glass lens, Has 2 usefull modes (High and low). Also has fast strobe, but it's a con for me. Cooling is OK - the LED's star lays on aluminium insert, screwed into body - heat transfer is acceptable.
    Cons:
No o-rings, which is OK for me. Had no current sense resistor in driver module, so it draw 1800 ma from fresh 18650! I'm lucky,...

    Good!

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
-Myne came in beautiful black+yellow color - looks just like any other professional equip! Has a switchable blue backlight - usable even in the dark. Good package - can even be used as a case during long-time storage. Measures not perfectly, but precise eno...
    Cons:
Package is too tight - the trigger button is pushed forever and battery is discharged. So, to keep the thermometer in its case,...

    Excellent! Highly recommend

    Pros:
Excellent, precise tool. Has both inches and millimeters. Not a pro for me - millimeters alone would be fine as well. Can measure depth and internal/external diameters - that's all, the caliper should be able to do. And this one does very well! :) Has a sp...
    Cons:
..but no more than that. Case plastic could be better. Machined a little rudely - edges are sharp. But both are not a con for m...

    Excellent for the price

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap, very expensive-looking watch. Self-winding works perfectly, I never had to wind it manually. And the main pro - the glass is NOT plastic - it is cannot be scratched with ordinary metals - really cool feature for the price!
    Cons:
Someone can consider a con its thickness >1cm! Not a con for me - my hand is big enough the watch not to look over-sized. Th...
