A fine flash diffuser for my 580EX II

posted by ordodk on 03/05/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's a fine diffuser comparable to a more expensive brand diffuser. It will disperse and soften the light considerably.
    Cons:
Can be hard to wiggle on, I hear. I don't seem to have that problem though.

    Extremely bright mini flashlight

posted by ordodk on 12/12/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I was very surprised to see exactly how powerful this handheld flashlight is. Do not look directly into the cree LED! It won't destroy your eyes, but it'll hurt ;) It feels like it's good quality too. It's very small for a 18650 flashlight. It looks like t...
    Cons:
Even though it feels like it's good quality, I can't help but feel that it's a bit weird when you shake it hard, when it's on? ...

    UltraFire branded charger

posted by ordodk on 10/02/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's a nice UltraFire branded 3.7v Li-Ion fast charger. It works as advertised. Have mostly been using it for 18650 batteries, but I also have a few other types of batteries that it charges.
    Cons:
I'm not sure it's really UltraFire or not, and the first one I got from Deal Extreme died after a single charge - When I wanted...

    Great protection for your phone

posted by ordodk on 10/02/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I've had several cases for my Samsung Galaxy S3, but this and one other, also from Deal Extreme is my favorite. It doesn't look that good, but it's not ugly either, and it's THIN but still protects the phone. Also NFC still works. It goes slightly over the ...
    Cons:
It's not as pretty as I'd like, but the wave-shape resembles an S as in the Galaxy S logo.

    It's a samsung USB replica

posted by ordodk on 10/02/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's a samsung USB replica. It's fair quality - In fact you can't tell if it's really Samsung or not. It works for syncing and charging. It's also fairly long! Nice.
    Cons:
I haven't noticed anything that puts me off this cable. It carges and syncs fine with this cable. I have cables at home, at wor...

    Protects you iPhone screen

posted by ordodk on 10/02/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It does what it does. Protects you precious screen. When the screen gets scratched by keys, sand or other annoying things, just tear off the film, clean and put on a new one! If you are careful, you can't even tell it's on.
    Cons:
No cons. It's an OK product for the price. That said, it can be HARD to get the air-bubbles out so apply the film very carefull...

Big headed runner is liking this

posted by ordodk on 10/02/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It's INSANELY bright, I have it on low and de-focussed all the way :) It tilts a bit, which is good - If I don't use the tilt, the beam is too high up.
    Cons:
I thought that there'd be a red LED at the back that lit up when it was on. There isn't. There is a LED that blinks when it's off.

Nice knife - But it is a manual release

posted by ordodk on 03/19/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
It's a nice looking knife. Especially if you don't look too close. Sharp. I can't tell if this is a real Böker knife or a copy. It's great.
    Cons:
The description didn't mention that it was a manual release knife. I bought it to keep it on me for opening stuff, but I can't ...
