    Useful item

posted by physicka on 01/09/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
-Constant current is better than constant voltage for sensitive components. -Current didn't fluctuate much during a 5 minute run test. -Useful even for non-flashlight purposes
    Cons:
-Wires are thin but functional, swap them if it concerns you.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Cons:
Lousy plastic mount, the plastic literally crumbled due to slight over tightening on my part. Replaced the plastic mount with D...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Cheap. Thick rubber grip provided. Holds flashlights firmly because of long tube design, note that it only tightens at the front, use o-rings to ensure a tight fit throughout the tube.
    Cons:
Screw cap is flimsy and tends to break off, doesn't really matter because a cyclist should have a screwdriver anyway. Mine arr...
