    Pros:
The blade was sharpened NOT TOO BLUNTLY. All the other knives I have recieved from DX were sharpened in a very wide angle. Not at all good for me when it comes times to resharpen. The overall build quality is good. The blade opens and closes very easily and ...

    It works!

posted by purplepunisher on 09/06/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Hey it works! It will charge 1 battery at a time as well as 2 at a time. When I leave the batteries in the charger for an hour longer than the fully charged light, nothing blows up! Very lightweight. Works with 110 volts or 220 volts ,so very useful for a tr...
    Cons:
I wish this unit had auto shut off like the similar single battery charger of this style does.

    vision extending micro tube

posted by purplepunisher on 07/29/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It is very small. Can easily be carried in a pocket. Fairly sharp optics. Good focus mechanism (not too loose). The focus allows a glasses wearer to adjust for using without looking through the glasses (this requires extra focusing adjustment)Very good.
    Cons:
Focusing requires a lot of tweaking during use. Not really a con but....

    Super fantastic bubble plastic.

posted by purplepunisher on 07/29/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Made from tough plastic. Securely fasten closed, should not come open by accident. Not too hard for this expert to open. Comes in 3 different colors. Has inner structure to accomodate AA or AAA batteries in such a way as to be super-duper.
    Cons:
The price is a bit too high. Not actually made from super fantastic bubble plastic.

    Pros:
The plastic it's made of seems tough. Latches closed easily and well. Easy to unlatch/open. 2 differing colors are sent per order.I got a clear and an orange. Each case fits 2 18650 batteries or 4 cr 123 batteries. Loose enough to allow a nice rattle sound ...
    Cons:

Even wide flood. Rare for led light.

posted by purplepunisher on 07/21/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The special thing about this flashlight is the very even bright flood that it will put out. Very useful and different than other led flashlights. Easy to use. Gives off a good amount of light. The construction on mine seems to have no problems. Uses 3 AAA ...
    Cons:
The lens that focuses the light is made of plastic not glass. No problem.

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Uses AA batteries I am using NIMH. Is darn bright until the battery loses power. The switch on mine seems very good I use it a lot every day and I expect it to keep going and going... SINGLE MODE no funny business ,always works!
    Cons:
Didn't work when it arrived. Wouldn't light up. I stretched out the spring in the cap and got it to work reliably. Careful when...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very strongly built should last for years. It uses AA batteries, I am using NIMH. Ok light output, good throw.Forward clicky switch good for short momentary use.
    Cons:
Older emitter. not much spill if you want spill/flood. The switch was a bit better on my gray rc-g2.

    Quick draw holster

posted by purplepunisher on 07/14/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This holster holds my ultrafire 502b flashlight very well. Also my 501b and I'm sure it also can fit many others. The holster can be hung from the metal ring on top via a carabiner OR it also has a belt loop on the back side. It might be handier using the...
    Cons:
I have been using a carabiner and therefore it takes 2 hands to remove the flashlight...one to hold the holster. dangly dangly...

almost as good as my other 6 inches

posted by purplepunisher on 07/13/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I use this with my Romisen rc-n3 flashlight. It works great with that flashlight in the extended 2 AA version. It seems plenty strong. You can hang it from the ring using a carabiner or put a belt through the dedicated belt loop. I use it almost every day.
    Cons:
Takes 2 hands to take the flashlight out. One hand to hold the holster. Actually this is good. If it slid out too easily the fl...
