    It works quite well.

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This charger is small and reasonably sturdy. I found the build quality to be adequate (although the internal electronics are only just adequate) and I liked the slide access to the battery compartment. I've successfully used it to charge an iPod Touch an...
    Cons:
The power switch is the worst part of this device. The switch is flimsy and a bit difficult to correctly put it in the "o...

These are not 10x binoculars, more like 8.5x

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
These Dynasty binoculars are compact, lightweight, the optics are clear, and the build quality is reasonable. The binoculars have both a main and right eye focus adjustment.
    Cons:
I tested them and found them to not be 10x binoculars, they are more like 8.5x binoculars (see test photo under images). Lens c...

    True 7x Monocular

posted by rparker on 02/03/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This monocular is compact, clear, and has surprisingly little chromatic aberration for the price. Build quality is good. I tested it and found it to be a true 7x monocular (see test photo under images). The monocular has both a coarse and fine grain focu...
    Cons:
Doesn't include lens caps. The light gathering ability is limited, but that is to be expected given the small aperture.

    A well-stitched pouch.

posted by rparker on 01/30/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
These appear to be quite good. They are well stitched and the velcro closures (on three sides of the flap) securely hold the flap closed. The material is solid and the quad cross-connecting velcro attachment straps allow you to attach the pouch both vertic...
    Cons:
I didn't find anything negative about these pouches. The worst I can say is that the color of the pouches I received very slig...

    Good value

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
These LR44 batteries are a good value for the price. Voltage was within spec.
    Cons:
The batteries I received were date coded as 9 months old, a bit older than I would have preferred.
