    Bright and good build quality

posted by rr4612 on 01/04/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is a bright torch. It is quite a bit brighter than my 502b ssc-97 light. The build quality is quite good. I like the fact that you can remove the "assault crown" if you want to. It's nice to have a hi and low setting. The strobe is decent but I would ...
    Cons:
The strobe is decent but I would like a faster one like my 502b 3 mode. It's advertised as a fast strobe....but I would call it...

Nice small light that takes common aa battery

posted by rr4612 on 11/30/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a nice little flashlight. It is pretty bright. I have only used a aa battery and I would say that it is probably a little less than 100 lumens, which is good to me as it only takes one aa battery. The modes are easy to access...just hold the click ...
    Cons:
I wish the strobe was faster...as in used to disorient a intruder or rabid dog.

    Pros:
Nice charger....can charge 18650's and 16340's so it does double duty and only cost what a single battery type charger costs....the build quality seems better than some of the other chargers I have bought....I like how the power cable is separate and no jus...
    Cons:
not really a con, but I just put one protected 18650 in as it seems it would be very hard to remove the batteries if you had tw...

Very bright for a AA flashlight!

posted by rr4612 on 05/11/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
This is a very bright aa battery flashlight, I would say 90 lumen or more. It is the brightest single aa flashlight I have seen. The forward clicky is nice and pretty uncommon on these chinese lights. The size is good, it is pretty small.
    Cons:
none that I can think of........

    Pros:
very bright...good price! I like the 3 modes...high when you need alot of light, low when you need to save batteries or don't need too much light, strobe to be seen or disorient intruder or wild animal.
    Cons:
not quite as bright as I thought it would be, although it is very bright, don't get me wrong, just no where near 900 lumens

    Pros:
This is a nice charger. It charges CR2's and 16340's (rechargeable cr123a's) It does the job. The fact that you can save alot of money buy charging cr2's (of course in addition to rechargeable cr2's) is awesome as the primary cr2's are extremely expensive.
    Cons:
not much that I can think of

good little charger and doesn't cost much at all. Charges batteries like it supposed to. Nice to have the light - green once charges... red when batteries need to be or are being charged.

    Great batteries, Great price

    Pros:
These are nice batteries. The fact that they are rechargeable CR2 batteries is awesome. Buying primary CR2's is very expensive, so this solves that problem. They keep a charge very nicely. I used them in my coleman CR2 flashlight and they gave great output.
    Cons:

Very bright, not 320 lumens...probably more like 150. It is a little brighter than my 501b...the flood is about the same, but the hot spot with the 502b is quite abit bigger. I like the modes on it. The strobe is pretty good...I just wish the fast strobe wa...

    Pros:
I like the 3 modes....hi....low....fast strobe The fast strobe is quick enough to be disorienting...which is good for home defense. The flashlight is very bright, I wouldn't say 230 lumens, probably more like 130 lumens...still very bright. It is made pret...
