    Great little light

posted by skysyk on 06/02/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This light is surprisingly bright, and comes with 3 useful modes: rapid flashing / cycling between 3 LEDs, synced flashing of all 3 LEDs, and continuous on. The quality is very good at this price, and the mount attached securely to my seatpost.
    Cons:
Not much to talk about here, considering it does everything it claims to do, and is cheap. Only areas of concern would be batt...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Seriously, the only way you could get a cheaper set of picks would be to make them yourself. And they won't be as nice as these ones.
    Cons:
The tension wrench is useful, but the metal is crap and it WILL break after about 50 - 100 uses. This is the reason why I'm si...

    Average knife

posted by skysyk on 06/02/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is a sharp (supposedly 440) stainless steel knife with a serrated edge. The build quality of the knife is acceptable: metal parts are solid as are the joints, but some screws can be a little loose and not everything is aligned in the best way possible.
    Cons:
This knife blade is very useful, but as the knife itself is illegal in most places, it isn't really useful. Since there are so...

    Good design, fail quality

posted by skysyk on 06/02/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
A good design using sticky rubber for the straps that hold onto your handlebars and hold your flashlight onto the mount. The sizing is fairly good, and the mount is capable of gripping almost any small to medium diameter flashlight. The swivel mechanism i...
    Cons:
Rubber strap for the flashlight grip broke after 3 days of use. Expect the same result for your purchase.

    Good but bulky

posted by skysyk on 02/17/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very easy to use, no worries about overcharging / overdischarging. Price is right. Build quality is acceptable
    Cons:
Double and triple check that these will fit in the devices you want to use them in (use the DX reference picture). The PCB add...
