Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Really well-made, all pieces cut to precision, no burrs visible - Great detail, much better than some commercial ones like Maisto - Spring suspension, kickstand that works - Even the mirrors are real!
    Cons:
    - The box was a bit wrinkled from the trip, but it arrived in perfect condition. - The handlebar shocks are "stuck" i...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
    - Very nice build quality -- the outer cover is all rubber, appears to be quite resistant to water - Good quality audio - Big tactile buttons, easy to operate with gloves - Being able to charge it with a standard miniUSB cable is great. - Call quality is great
    Cons:
    - Does not have FM radio - Does not have full AVRCP (just A2DP audio). What this means is that you cannot control your music be...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
    - Comes in a nice little crystal case, great for a gift. - Comes with two "battery packs" made of 4xLR41 batteries (one pre-installed) - REALLY small, just over an inch - Powerful light for its size - It's water-resistant, with a silicone o-ring ("subme...
    Cons:
    - LR41s can be a little difficult to get/expensive to replace. But the two included packs should last quite a while for occasio...

Great camera mount for my motorcycle

posted by slaughta on 05/15/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I mounted it on my motorcycle (big custom), and the camera was rock solid, I was able to make some nice videos with it. Good quality velcro straps.
    Cons:
The size may not fit most sportbikes, but should fit custom ones easily. May not hold heavier cameras (I used a compact digital...

    Pros:
    - Build quality is nice; - Packaging is also quite nice; - Paired easily with Linux and Mac;

    Works fine

posted by slaughta on 02/07/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Does what it proposes to do: split a VGA video signal into two monitors, up to 2048x1536. Was able to put 1920x1080 to my HDTV. Appears to the PC as "Analog Monitor". Has a handy ON/OFF switch on top. Can also be USB powered (there is a type B con...
    Cons:
Doesn't really boost the signal at all despite what is said on the box ("Enhance Video Signals for Distance Up to 65m"...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
    - Very good build quality - Good padding - Good quality zippers - Strong stitching - The extra pocket in front could be useful

Apparently they got the measurements of a 12.1" laptop AND FORGOT ABOUT THE CORNERS. The corners are ROUNDED, so it's basicall...
