    Great Value

posted by smelly on 05/26/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I ordered these as soon as it looked as though they were genuine. I don't know if they are real or not but they sound great and are very comfortable to wear. If you bought them as a gift I'm sure the recipient wouldn't even suspect there was any doubt about...
    Cons:
The only cons are that I did not receive the clip with them.

    Much Better than I expected

posted by smelly on 05/26/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice (still getting used to it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
I knew this wasn't genuine when I ordered it but I didn't expect this much quality for $8.77. The knife has a good weight and feel to it. It opens very easily using the thumb stud. There is no play in mine but I have hardly used it yet. The pocket clip is ...
    Cons:
    None so far.

    A cheap and versatile driver

posted by smelly on 05/10/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I used to use SKU7882 and a Q5 LED to upgrade Romisen RC-G2s but I thought I would give this a try as it is cheaper. Using this circuit board with a NiMh battery the performance is roughly similar to standard but with a 14500 battery the output is substan...
    Cons:
Would be nice if there was a 16mm version available other than that I can't think of any cons.

    A very useful hobby charger

posted by smelly on 05/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I've had this for some time and I use it a lot, mainly for niMh and lithium batteries. This seems to be the same as the Accucell charger and I use the instruction manual for that with this one. It's very handy for cycling cells that haven't been used for a...
    Cons:
There are a few. The buzzer is VERY LOUD. It can be turned off but is usefule for indicating a problem as well as indicating t...

    A very useful item

posted by smelly on 05/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good construction of chrome plated steel with nice round corners and no sharp edges. These have a number of uses, not only do they stop the alarm going off when the seat is occupied but they also allow luggage to be carried on the seat. They have a hole i...
    Cons:
None that I can think of.

    A good cheap speaker mic

posted by smelly on 05/09/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This is a very useful accessory. It fits both my Kenwood and Puxing radios and works perfectly. Puxings are known to be down a bit on the modulation, hence many people drill out the mic hole a little but modulation is improved using this microphone.
    Cons:
There are no cons really, the microphone feels a little lightweight and the coiled lead is a bit short and stiff. By that I mea...

Excellent value if you need a thrower

posted by smelly on 05/08/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
As many people have said this is one of the best throwers for the price. I have bought about six or seven of these for friends. Because they are such a good thrower it is very easy to impress people but I'm not so sure about the practicality of a dedicated ...
    Cons:
The biggest con with these is the variable build quality. Some will not take two rechargable 16340s without modification to the...

    Perfect fit on solarforce L2

posted by smelly on 07/20/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
As it says in the title this is a perfect fit on my solarforce L2 so presumably it will fir Surefire torches too. It is a reverse clickie with lanyard and can tailstand.
    Cons:
The cons are not too serious. The anodising does not match the Solarfore. It is a matt black whereas the Solarforce is more sem...

    Good Value

posted by smelly on 01/20/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I have no light meter but as far as I can tell by eye this LED is a little brighter than my Q5 LEDs and a match for my other R2 LEDs.
    Cons:
The only con as far as I'm concerned is the fact that it comes on such a large star, I needed to remove it and resolder to a sm...

    It's a battery Charger

posted by smelly on 09/13/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
As the title says, it's a charger. It works well and has the advantage that it can charge 3.0 volt as well as 3.6 volt cells. This is the main reason I bought it. Small, compact and neat. Light changes from red to green and charging stops when cells are ful...
    Cons:
The only con is that it is a little expensive when compared to it's big brother the WF-139 which is less than a dollar more.
