    In a Word...Wow!

posted by steverrobertson on 07/27/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This little Android is slightly bigger than a USB drive, so it is small. It is fast, very fast for me. My TV says it is receiving true 1080i signal. The picture is very crisp and clear. We watch network movies on it where our old Android would choke. 8...
    Cons:
It has 2 USB ports which is nice, but you are forced to burn one for a USB keyboard/mouse. It does not have Bluetooth, so you ...

    Not Leather but nice

posted by steverrobertson on 07/22/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works very well. Works on Android and PC computer. Way better than using the onscreen keyboard on Android. Looks very professional, protects the Android screen. Looks like a leather-bound book from a distance.
    Cons:
Not real leather - doesn't even look real. The vinyl material has a cross-hatch pattern, but it still looks nice. Keys are to...

Good Value - HDMI DOES NOT WORK!

posted by steverrobertson on 07/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Great value overall. Snappy response. Does everything that I need it to do. Graphics are sharp and clean. I have downloaded lots of apps with no problems at all.
    Cons:
HDMI does no work at all. When you plug it in, it does give a TV icon, but no HDMI logo. No settings to enable HDMI. I am qu...

    Great flat HDMI cable

posted by steverrobertson on 07/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Nice flat cable perfect for running under rugs without leaving a nasty bump to trip over. The cable appears to be good quality. The connectors are nice, solid metal and appear to be really industrial, so that's a nice touch for the people that like to neg...
    Cons:
I don't have anything bad to say about this cable, although it does look like the connectors don't have a strain relief. Could...

    Works perfectly

posted by steverrobertson on 07/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Version 1.4 compliant, passing through audio like it ought to. I plug in the little end in my android and the cable from my TV in the big end. Even a caveman can do it! My family uses it abundantly to watch Android YouTube stuff on the TV.
    Cons:
Um...it's just an adapter. It either works or it doesn't. There are no cons on this one.

    Decent Capture device

posted by steverrobertson on 07/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Let's face it. This thing works and works pretty well. If you have video editing software like ULead or Adobe Premiere, it is plug and play. Beats the heck out of those old Matrox cards I had to buy 15 years ago for 15 times the price.
    Cons:
Nothing fancy about it - this thing is basic. But for ten bucks, who can gripe? The software that comes with it sucks, but it...

    Fills my niche perfectly

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Great no-frills MP3 player. Holds our complete music collection in the 8gb SD (not included). We use it with a cassette adapter for the car so we can hear the music we want, when we want. Build quality is okay.
    Cons:
Eats batteries. Alkaline cell lasts about 5 hours, so we use rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries to cut battery cost. Plays songs in...

    Very decent tablet

posted by steverrobertson on 07/08/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This has a nice display screen - bright and colorful. HDMI actually works with audio output over HDMI too. Fully functional Android with lots of extras like full size USB ports, HDMI, RJ45 LAN, headphones out, etc. The headphone output still works with a...
    Cons:
S-l-l-o-o-o-w-w-w. Be patient when pressing buttons - this is not a lightning bolt, but it does the job. When watching movies...

Very nice - exactly what I hoped for

posted by steverrobertson on 03/28/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Came with Android 2.3.3 and works great. Easy to use, touch screen works great. Appearance is good. Connects to WiFi with no problems and stays connected using WPA encryption. Surfs the Internet, plays MP3 music. Plays movies of all types that I have thr...
    Cons:
Will not connect to the WiFi using WPA2, but I've heard that is a problem with Android 2.3.3 and not the device. GPS will not ...

    Nice warm very bright light

posted by steverrobertson on 10/29/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Inexpensive. Very, very bright - about equivalent to 50w incandescent bulb. From the outside, the car looks unnaturally lit - just too bright to be believable.
    Cons:
Some people will find this to be just too bright for a car. Might best be used in vans, stock trailers, RV's, etc. where you ...
