    Good item

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Gives plenty of light wherever you need it. (As long as you have a USB port...) The clamp is rather big, so you can surfaces like thick tables without a problem. The cable has a strain relief at the lamp side.
    Cons:
The flexible neck makes a weird "cracking" noise when you put it in another direction. I hope it doesn't break soon.....

Wiimote is OK, Nunchuck doesn't work

posted by stijnjits on 09/14/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It looks perfectly like a genuine Wiimote. Only no texts like "Wii" or "Nintendo" on it. Build quality is good. The plastic doesn't have a strong weird smell like other reviews state.
    Cons:
The Nunchuck doesn't work. When you plug it in the Wii still thinks the stick is pushed down. This happens on the remote coming...

    Pros:
The best pro: Price! It is incredibly cheap! It just does what it is supposed to: convert USB to RS232. I used it to connect to Cisco routers, microcontroller boards, XTA processors... All working like a charm. Drivers are included on a CD.
    Cons:
The CD is very small and contains a lot of drivers, for all kinds of different products. (I couldn't use this CD in my laptop w...

    Pros:
These magnets are very small, and very strong. When you have a lot of these magnets it's just fun playing with them: take them appart, recombine them... I use these magnets on my whiteboard to keep papers up. One little magnet easely keeps up an A4 paper.
    Cons:
They are very strong! I accidentaly dropped one on a notebook and completely erased the hard drive... So: keep them away from c...

    Pros:
No need to build your IDE or SATA drives into a pc anymore. Just connect them to this handsome device and off you go!
    Cons:
I tested it on different IDE and 2,5" SATA drives. The IDE drives worked, but after a time data corruption occured and the har...

Does exactly what it should do!

posted by stijnjits on 12/15/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
It is a simple product. Just 2 RJ45 connectors in one housing. There is not much that can go wrong with this. It does what it should do: couple two network cables.
    Cons:
You have to push a little to make the connectors fit. The connector is like 1/10 of a milimeter too small, but once connected i...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
It keeps my phone (HTC Touch Pro2) atached to the front window of my car... You can place a photo in it that you see when there is no phone inserted. Looks quite nice...
    Cons:
I can't place my phone in landscape mode in it. After wrecking the thing to the right size of the phone, the holders press the ...

    Good for the money

    Pros:
This invertor is very small so he can be placed somewhere in the car where he doesn't annoy me, like under the seats. The invertor is equiped with one mains plug wich looks a little strange. It's a sort of universal plug: different kinds of power plugs fit...
    Cons:
I checked the inside of the device and my electronic knowledge tells me this device is never going to give 300 watts of power. ...
