    Great Qi Charger and stand

posted by temporary1 on 03/07/2014 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This doubles as a both a stand and Qi charger. Pretty fast amongst other Qi chargers. The stand probably also helps with cooling as charging. Just make sure you have a good cable between your wall socket and the this.
    Cons:
Holds a Nexus 5 ok in landscape but not in portrait, if that matters to you. The cable comes out the top edge at 2'oclock. so...

    Good kit!

posted by temporary1 on 08/10/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Nice little kit. Box closes well. Got it just for the extension bit (*see below). The extension bit slides into the holder allowing it to be adjusted in length.
    Cons:
Some of the bits are a bit hard to get out of the box - but at least they dont just fall out! The box doesnt fit the handle wit...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I saw (another brand) one of these at a toy store a year ago and balked at the price. For $25 i thought i'd give it a go! It's now running on my dining table and its hard to walk past without at least one run through! An experience putting it together, a...
    Cons:
It can be a little frustrating putting it together, but (in hindsight) it was worth the effort. The instructions 'text' is prac...

    Works well

posted by temporary1 on 09/07/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It magnifies things! The included lenses are, (from memory... ) 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 (or was it 3.5?) so not huge mag, but good enough. The 3 lower powers worked fantasticly, and the light is pretty bright
    Cons:
the highest power (3x?) didnt allow 2-eyed viewing, so i've taped off the left side with black take to avoid headaches (the res...

    Works great in canon mp240

posted by temporary1 on 09/07/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works well in an mp240. Have done 2 refills now with these and its going well. Much cheaper (about a 1/4 of the price) of local off-label refills. Makes the multifunction a cheep usable photocopier for my parents.
    Cons:
probably wouldnt trust this for keeping long term photos, but i get them professionaly done anyway for just a few cents each at...

    Better than nothing (i think)

posted by temporary1 on 05/26/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Although thin, these are well built. Very strong and hard to tear. The elastic straps are good and the fit is ok* on my head**. It has a place for a nose piece*
    Cons:
very thin... you can read through these, easier than a tissue. It's much stronger than a tissue, so im not sure how good a filt...

    Good buy!

posted by temporary1 on 09/17/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
A pro not yet mentioned is that it is very fast, about 25 seconds from inflation to deflation (you get the result in about 20s-the discomfort pressure stage lasts only about 5-10s). Very easy to fit also, i have large arms and am nowhere near using the full...
    Cons:
You do need to sit at a table and make sure the cuff is at heart hight (put your bent elbow on the table). Otherwise it reads r...

Works great, easy to use, fantastic

posted by temporary1 on 08/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It just works. I had absolutely no trouble setting this up with my Nokia 6120 classic. Works with Nokia maps, google and tom tom (haven't tried others). Usually very fast to find me, even from a cold start, but with fantastic battery life I just leave it on...
    Cons:
If I have to say something: looks ugly... more rounded edges might make it more comfortable to carry in tight jeans... Takes se...

    Bright and Tough

posted by temporary1 on 08/19/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Yes these are very very bright. You can dazzle a person with these! Bright enough not just to find keyhole but to walk down unlit paths at night. Was a great thing to have on me on holiday. The little switch I see as an asset, it has never turned on acciden...
    Cons:
I guess the switch could be bigger but then i'd just have to complain that it got accidentally turned on. So no real cons...
