    Good quality, nice and compact

posted by thany on 04/05/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Build quality is good enough and it works like a charm. It's got only the one button, so it's not very hard to use. It works well with my Canon 550D.
    Cons:
It seems as if it runs out battery quite soon. I've been using it with the battery that came with it, and even after only a few...

    Good for your Sony laptop

posted by thany on 04/05/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Build quality is very good. The card fits well into a MemoryStick slot. A microSD also fits snugly into the card, not too tight and not too loose. I have seen transfer speeds of around 15MB/s, which is not too bad.
    Cons:
Transfer speed could be higher. MemoryStick Duo PRO can go up to 20MB/s and the card I used was able to do 21MB/s in a native S...

    Don't use it too long

posted by thany on 01/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
This flashlight is very bright. That's clear every time I use it. It's also very light and very small, making it perfect when going o a trip. There's always a spot for it in the suitcase. The color of the light is not particularly warm - just what you'd exp...
    Cons:
The screw-to-switch-on is a bit fiddly. It doesn't switch on to a constant burn right away, you need to screw it down a little ...

    Mildly cold weather friend

posted by thany on 01/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's a straight piece of cloth, let's be honest, but it can do so much! I mainly used it to wrap around my neck to protect from the cold. I also sometimes wore it inside, because it makes it just a little warmer. The cloth stretches, so it's easy to put on ...
    Cons:
The cloth is very thin, making it less useful for very cold circumstances. The cloth also seems to attract static charge quite ...

    Handy tools need sharpening

posted by thany on 01/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It's a nice and small design, with a good selection of tools. It's not bulky like most others, so there's always a spot in your suitcase to put it on, when going on a trip. The designs looks cool as well. I also like that it has a philips screwdriver, this ...
    Cons:
Some of the tools (notably the scissors) are not very sharp. The knife is reasonably sharp, but could be better. Surprizingly t...

    Compact and fast

posted by thany on 01/27/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very compact design, and achieves full USB3 speeds (as long as drive can handle it - I tested with an SSD). Connection is a true/standard micro USB3-connection, so it works with any standard micro-USB3 cable.
    Cons:
Screwless design is a little so-so. The plastic clip to hold everything together doesn't feel strong, but it has held up so far...

    They work just fine

posted by thany on 03/04/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
They are extremely cheap compared to Canon originals. And even so, they just work. Originals are 10 times more expensive, but not 10 times better.
    Cons:
None yet. Maybe they won't last as long, but for this kind of price, it's easy enough to order another.

Not very useful, but fun to show off

posted by thany on 12/05/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It has a small led to indicate that it's working. The housing it semi-transparent, so it looks kind of fancy. The crank cn be folded away so it won't break during transport or something.
    Cons:
The crank itself feels really cheap, I always feel like I'm about to break when using it. Also, at times, cranking it becomes a...

    Work fine

posted by thany on 12/05/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I was a little sceptic at first, to use non-genuine batteries. But I took the chance, and boy was it a good one. Not only 8 times cheaper, but performs at least equal to its genuine counterpart.
    Cons:
If Panasonic finds out, you might void your warranty. Not sure though. I'd still go for it. Also for some reason, on the pictu...

    Very bright

posted by thany on 12/04/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
This is a surprizingly bright light bulb. It shines well in all directions without being able to see individual leds.
    Cons:
The light color is not as advertised. It's well over 3000K, considering a 2800K CFL-lamp seems yellow in comparison.
