    Big standard buttons

posted by theeconomist on 12/04/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Bigger than most buttons (tact switches) - 12x12 mm instead of 6x6 mm in most packages. Easy to press. Yellow color, stands out very good for certain purposes. Only package on dx that has the large-sized buttons.
    Cons:
The pressable square on top of the button is rather small, harder to press than other wider circle-buttons. The buttons fit ok ...

Not very good quality, causes flashes

posted by theeconomist on 11/06/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Small, easy to connect. Using this adapter, you can lengthen HDMI cables (by buying this adapter and buying another male to male HDMI cable).
    Cons:
Connection isn't all the way in. The connections are flipped between sides (on one side the connection is facing up, on the oth...

Good switch for living room, multiple devices

posted by theeconomist on 11/06/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
The switch is easy to connect. Works great. No audible loss in quality of sound. All the cables (both input and output) are connected in the back of the switch unlike others, so connections stay clean and sleek. I use this switch to switch between audio inp...
    Cons:
The buttons sometimes aren't fully responsive; You might press one button and another pressed one won't become un-pressed. Does...

    Work for Israel as well!

posted by theeconomist on 11/06/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
I bought these to convert US plugs into Israeli electricity plugs (Israeli electricity plugs are similar to EU plugs), and they fit the electricity outlets here. Work great for US devices that support 220v-240v voltage as well.
    Cons:
It fits a bit loose to Israeli plugs. Might fall out if something heavy is connected. The plugs are clumsy, don't look very good.

    Good simple android smartphone cable

posted by theeconomist on 11/06/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The cable connects easily on both sides. While connected, the cable charges smartphones and allows transferring data to the phone and back, like mp3s or apks, etc.
    Cons:
The cable is a bit short (could be longer). The phone charges about 3-4 times slower than when connected directly into the elec...

posted by theeconomist on 11/06/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
The charger works great. Plug it in to electricity and other end to android phone, and it charges the phone very quickly. Just as quick as original power charger. The plug connects easily to the phone, holds on well.
    Cons:
The charger makes a very small, high-pitch noise which is only audible in complete silence. Might bother anyone with good hear...
