    Not focused well

posted by thegnostic on 05/22/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Bright, good white light. 3 modes, although label says 5 on the drop-in. Good difference between high and low mode. Strobe is fast enough. Mode memory works well. On low it draws only .17 amp, so it should have decent runtime on low.
    Cons:
Huge donut hole in the center of the beam. Not 900 lumens, but I didn't expect it to be. On high it draws 1.65 amp from an AW ...

    Pros:
Very fast tactical deployment. Blade is sturdy, doesn't wobble side to side. Lightweight and easy to carry with sturdy metal clip. Metal clip is removable. Metal frame with locking blade.
    Cons:
Poor safety design.!!! It is non-functional. No matter how hard you push safety up against activation stud, it will still deplo...

    Decent host for flashlight Mod

posted by thegnostic on 02/19/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
Unique activation, (Surefire style) of momentary/twist. Switch should be able to handle lots of current, as there is no cheap clicky. Glow in the dark tailcap switch Easy to convert to P60/D26 drop-in with minor modifications. Came with lubrication on t...
    Cons:
Ugly dim yellow light with 2 CR123a 3.0 volt batteries. Not as good as cheaper Superfire 9v SKU 00903. Momentary activation o...

    Nice Every day carry flashlight

posted by thegnostic on 01/17/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Tail switch works reliably on/off. Flashlight is almost as bright as Ultrafire A40B. Tailstands perfectly with lanyard removed. Works with AA and 3.6 volt 14500. (brighter with 3.6 volt 14500.) Great light output. Decent spot with very usable spill.
    Cons:
No momentary on function. Holster doesn't have a top flap.

    Bright Warm Flood Light

posted by thegnostic on 01/17/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Very, very bright. Although blinding, it is not 900 lumens, but probably more than 350. Compared to my 250 lumen Olight M20, this one is more than twice as bright at 1/3 the cost. Light has a yellow warm tint as opposed to bluish white tint seen from m...
    Cons:
Light does not throw. (could be a pro if you were looking for a flood light.) Cannot use 2xCR123a to be more battery compatibl...

    Very Nice Flashlight

posted by thegnostic on 01/17/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Bright, although not listed on DX, Romisen rates it about 160 lumens. This would make a good emergency flashlight as it takes either 3 AAA, 2 CR123A or 2 RCR123 (16340) or 1x 18650 battery. The brightness seems to be fairly similar on any battery combinat...
    Cons:
Single mode tail clicky does not have a tactical momentary press. Clicky switch protrudes from the cap causing an unstable tai...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
These look just like the Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic which sell at the apple store for $79.99. These come in a box similar to apple with a photocopied warranty sheet that has the apple logo and wording on it. They work fine, there is no vi...
    Cons:
Sound quality is not as good as original iphone/ipod earbuds. They do not have anywhere near the high frequency response as th...
