Works perfectly out of the box on Linux without additional drivers

posted by tizbac on 11/10/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Works as expected, i've used it to install openwrt on various routers and to connect to the serial console of a beaglebone black, on linux no additional drivers requires , works as soon you plug it in
    Cons:
    Maybe it could be cheaper

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
It boosts the signal a lot , it allows me receiving access points more than 50 km away ( here 2.4 ghz is almost unused so no interference ) It is very solid and can be mounted easily
    Cons:
Maybe the caps will get damaged by UV radiation if exposed a lot of time to direct sun
