Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Now this light is bright. I used to have an old Surefire 2 battery light on my rifle. I switched the batteries out of Surefire and put them inside this thing. This new light seems like twice as bright as my old light with the exactly same set of batteries. ...
    Cons:
It gets hot. I always feel as if there's something wrong with the design when light get hot in use. But many others (name brand...

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Good processing power for this price. Card comes ready for use with Linux installed so it's easy to get started. Can be programmed like a "real" computer so it's easy to make this into anything you want.
    Cons:
Does not play flash straight out of box so no youtube. Haven't tried to fix this so there may be a workaround already. There ma...

    Pros:
Good quality, standard wiring. Easy to set up with Arduino. The blue back light is very good looking in my opinion.
    Cons:
You need to connect many wires to get this one working. If you don't like to solder so much, maybe better get one of the serial...

    Good deal

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Very nice size, much smaller than original Arduino board. The price is the best I've seen and it even comes with a cable for uploading the software. All pins are marked and no problem reading any markings (I have good eyes). Fits directly on a prototyking b...
    Cons:
The fit on a prototyping bread board it very tight. You can not mount Arduino shields on top of this because it's much smaller ...

    Big scope with big zoom

posted by tkotzi on 05/13/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Adjustments work and the clicks are as good as in some more expensive scopes. The picture is quite clear from 10x to somewhere around 25x after which it starts to get foggy. However even the 40x is usable from supported position, you can clearly see .22 ho...
    Cons:
This is one big telescope. The adjustmens are not protected so they could in theory move around in rifle bag. Mark your zero t...
