One of the best flashlights I've ever owned

posted by triggerjerk on 08/28/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Always works, first time, every time, without having to shake, re-click the switch, or bang it against a table. Immediate bright light when I need it, subdued soft light when I don't, strobe so I can lash it to the front of my bike & instantly become ab...
    Cons:
I wish it were less expensive, then I would own one for each pair of pants and shorts I own. I dunno, maybe an embedded gps ch...

    Excellent small light

posted by triggerjerk on 02/06/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Excellent pocket light, it has been my edc for almost a year now. Having stupidly worn sweat pants to the store last night, I realized that it must have fallen out of the shallow, slippery pocket. I have quite a few other lights, mostly from DX, but tonight...
    Cons:
Doesn't contain a cigar lighter or clip, or a fork and spoon, or magnifying glass. No...wait...This is a POCKET LIGHT, nothin...

    Great truck cap light

posted by triggerjerk on 01/28/2010 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I wanted a bright light for my pickup cap, and I got one. I wired it to a lighted toggle switch, so that the led in the switch is always on. This makes it easy to find in the dark. When you flick the switch...WOW...it lights up the entire inside of the cap ...
    Cons:
Build quality is mediocre. I don't know how it will stand up to the shaking in the vehicle. However, it is just zip-tied to the...

    Brilliant small pocket light

posted by triggerjerk on 11/19/2009 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Blindingly brilliant, better than my LED Surefire G2 and close to my 6P. Throws a nice spot with lots of spill. Would be a great self defense light, more than enough to blind someone. Put a C123 primary in, throw it in your glove compartment, and forget abo...
    Cons:
It's almost too small to click on easily, but that's probably my fat, numb fingers at work. A high/low mode switch wold be nice...

    Wow....Just ....Wow

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
I am very impressed away by this light. Being retired, I can not afford a lot of the new powerful lights that I see on the web and in magazines. I recently discovered this site and can't believe the value here. Granted, if my life depended on it, I would pr...
    Cons:
Not very useful indoors, as it has little spill and laser-like intensity in the spot. Not very useful as a self defense weapon...
