    Fantastically powerful. Have 1000 uses

posted by trypsin on 06/26/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-Great size/power ratio -About the diameter of a pencil eraser and the width of a penny. These are perfect for multiple magnet-related projects. -The size and power are also pretty decent for scaling down the magnetism. In other words, shield them to your d...
    Cons:
-Chip easily, but powerful rare earth magnets such as these are not meant to be slammed against each other but encased for your...

Sleek, compact, but some minor flaws

posted by trypsin on 06/18/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
-The retractable cord is awesome. It makes you realize how annoying it was to wrap mouse cords when carrying around a laptop -USB and PS2 adapter. I've tested both and both function nicely, although the PS2 adapter seems to have less dpi (The USB function s...
    Cons:
-There's a high-pitched noise that increases when it's being actively moved. It's nearly inaudible, but once you can hear it, i...

    Fantastic!

posted by trypsin on 04/04/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
-Comes with a small memory stick adapter -Actually holds 2gb. Meaning that some memory cards sold elsewhere will corrupt files because they declare a false disk size. I tested the data integrity after filling it entirely. -Transfer speed not noticeably slow...
    Cons:
-Packaging left me wanting more. Sure, it is all proper English and even has imitation holograms. But I've grown used to poorly...

Fantastic shock, is a real pen

posted by trypsin on 03/15/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
-Decent shock if you use your thumb. On the arm or palm, it's not as strong, but the thumb is just the perfect place to get a strong shock. -Actually has a pen function (twist the tip) -Looks like a real pen if not overly examined.
    Cons:
-Could use a switch, if possible. Otherwise you might want to store it in the box it came in.

    Works. Not that flimsy. Cheap.

posted by trypsin on 03/15/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-Small, cheap, and solid enough to keep in your laptop repair kit. -Works, which is the whole point of it. Who cares about anything else
    Cons:
-Open circuitry is probably not the greatest idea (however it does not sit directly on top of exposed metal, but the plastic co...

Decent price, but half of them are junk.

posted by trypsin on 03/15/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-With 10 of these, you can probably find something in there that gets a laugh, even if they're not all convincing -The cigarette rods work pretty well -Sneezing powder also works -The Engrish (bad English) instructions are just awesome and alone worth the p...

Fantastic deal for an instant mustache party

posted by trypsin on 03/15/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-They serve their purpose well, which is to look funny. -Induces a fake, raspy 70's rock and roll voice. -You get a lot of them for the price. -Great for bringing to class such that the professor walks in with everyone wearing mustaches. -On that note, make...
    Cons:
-Don't look too realistic, and small for many adult faces, but who cares. They're supposed to look comical. -Stickiness is kill...

    Featureless, but does the job.

posted by trypsin on 03/14/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-Can do AAA or AA batteries, Nimh or NiCd -Wall connector folds in for easy portability -Indicator lights -Low charge output means this could be useful for older batteries. -Awesome Engrish on the back. Something about the battery charger being itself recha...
    Cons:
-Only 2 of either battery size can be charged at once, although there are 4 slots total. -No NiMh to NiCd switch, so it uses th...

Small, portable, priced right, but smells odd.

posted by trypsin on 03/14/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-Small -Portable -Cheaper than any capo out there -Adjustable -Cheap enough that you won't be upset if it's lost or damaged -Has a case -The fabric seems decent and strong.
    Cons:
-At first, it smells rather odd -Not as easy to clip on during a time crunch, or with only one hand as opposed to clamp-based c...

    Buy these!!!

posted by trypsin on 03/14/2008 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
I was worried about the quality, but I've had these bad boys for several months and am using them in a picky mp3 player no less. They work great. In fact, I prefer to use these than my name-brand 800mah AAAs. Usually with batteries, the cheap ones without a...
    Cons:
No cons, which is rare for me because I'm picky.
