Not very durable, but it works

posted by vinnie1337 on 07/03/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
--Pretty cheap --Lots of picks in the set --Handles are relatively comfortable and long enough for a good grip --Each pick (including the handle portion) is thin enough to store flat --Handles have holes to allow for carrying the set on a keychain
    Cons:
--Metal can be flimsy, especially on smaller picks. If you want a durable set instead of something for occasional use, don't ge...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
--Relatively cheap (especially compared to the official Apple cables, which are like $40+) --Seems solidly built, no cracks/rips/broken parts (yet, at least) --Looks like the real deal (bright white color on the cable and adapter) --Both ends fit securely; ...
    Cons:
--Still a bit expensive (could be about $2-3 less) --Form lines on the plastic housing stand out; makes it clear that this isn'...

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
-Very cheap -Good build quality (not as flimsy as you'd expect, and well made for the price point) -Both adapters worked for me out of the box
    Cons:
-Can't buy just one -Female USB end is a bit tight, can scrape the metal of the male connector

Flimsy but it works... so far

posted by vinnie1337 on 01/18/2013 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-Somewhat of cheap -Well-formed plastic material -Fits a Micro-SIM pretty much perfectly
    Cons:
-Expensive for what it is (basically wafer-thin piece of plastic) -Really flimsy -Feels like it might break after prolonged use

It's a piece of plastic, and it does its job

posted by vinnie1337 on 08/14/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
-Fits an 18-55mm lens fairly well -Much cheaper than the official Nikon lens hood -Decent build quality
    Cons:
-Doesn't support inverse mounting (for easier storage/transport) -Some manufacturing defects in the plastic -Petal shape causes...

    Well made and useful

posted by vinnie1337 on 08/14/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
-Easily fits into hotshoe mount -Has perfect dimensions (snug fit without any sliding around) -Seems to be accurate -Acts as a level for both the horizontal and vertical axis -Very compact; does not impede the pop-up flash
    Cons:
-Rubber is kind of a dust magnet -There is a small lip on both the front and rear of the level, making it seem like it may have...

Bit different from the photo, but still great

posted by vinnie1337 on 08/14/2012 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
-Pretty cheap, especially compared to the official Nikon remote -Same size/shape as the real thing -Works reliably so far
    Cons:
-Says "Yongnuo Digital" on the front, not "For Nikon" -IR LED not flush with body, sticks out about 1mm

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:more than 1 month

    Pros:
Ridiculously cheap, especially considering actual Apple cables probably cost ~$20.00 each Decent build quality Haven't had any connection problems
    Cons:
They're not *exactly* the same as real Apple cables, but considering the price, I'd give a little slack

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
*Great price - $2 for a re-usable pair is great *Frame is pretty sturdy, at least after a few minutes of use *Looks better than a disposable pair
    Cons:
*Red lens is way too dark; it makes any 3D video unwatchable *Not the best style of glasses, but that's a personal choice *Ag...
