    Very light but strong enough

posted by vturiserra on 12/14/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-Very light but strong enough. The best tripod you can take on your excursions.
    Cons:
-You can use the lineal bubble level in only one axis: to see if the camera points up or down, but not if it is inclined to the...

Good MP3 once you sort out some initial problems

posted by vturiserra on 12/10/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Novice  (still getting used to it) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
-The earphones that come with the MP3 are horrible, but once you change them and use your favourite, the sound is really good. You couldn't expect something different for this price. -Nice design, silky touch. -The battery duration is reasonable.
    Cons:
-Antivirus Kaspersky 11.0.2.556 detected a trojan in the system file. After deletting the three files that come with the MP3, y...

Somewhere else you pay double for this quality

posted by vturiserra on 12/10/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:1 day to 1 week

    Pros:
Nearly everything! -I bought this camera to have one that I could always take with me everywhere (I have a bigger one which I take out on special occasions only). -It has lots of exposure options: fully automatic, apperture priority, shutter priority, progr...
    Cons:
-It has a strap ring on one side only, so you can use a wrist strap only, not a shoulder strap. -x3 optical zoom is a bit short...

Very nice light, and not very expensive

posted by vturiserra on 06/29/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-The amount of heat produced is very low (as you could expect from LEDs), so I expect the batteries will last for hours and hours. -The dimmer doesn't work stop by stop but in a continuous way, from nearly nothing to blinding bright. -The test button has ...
    Cons:
-The diffuser grips should be better. -The clear diffuser doesn't do much. Without the diffuser, the angle covered is that of ...

    It does what it says

posted by vturiserra on 06/08/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
When I saw this cheap item I thought that maybe it would not measure the UV light but the visible light. It would have been an easy way of deceiving most buyers. So I tested it (after receiving a packet of batteries SKU 831, as the battery is not included)....
    Cons:
-There is no sign that says if the battery must face upwards or downwars when inserted, and the plastic ring that you use to in...

    Simple idea that works

posted by vturiserra on 06/07/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-A very simple idea that works.
    Cons:
-If your laptop isn't as thin as the Mac Air (to say something), it will be raised too much and the screen will be too vertical...

    Better wool, please!

posted by vturiserra on 05/17/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-Very useful when you don't want to set the thermostat of your central heating higher and higher until you're sweating like a pig.
    Cons:
-The wool the gloves are made of is a bit coarse. After the first time you wear them (and maybe the second or third time) you'l...

    A photographer's must

posted by vturiserra on 04/18/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
-8 pockets (6 outside, 2 inside) for all the bits and pieces that a photographer needs to handle every minute. -I suppose it will also be very useful for a fisherman, an electrician, etc. -Very light. Mine weighs only 254 g, 26 g less than what the descript...
    Cons:
-It has an XL label, but the vest is not extra large. -As the previous reviewer commented, the delivery time was a bit long (42...

    A very elegant mouse

posted by vturiserra on 03/24/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:less than 1 day

    Pros:
A very elegant mouse with a silky touch. It works perfectly. It is very comfortable. The price is unbeatable.
    Cons:
Without the blue leds it would be even more elegant. Why on earth everything must have a blue led nowadays? My mouse came with ...

The earpick is a little bit too sharp

posted by vturiserra on 03/12/2011 Certified Owner

Involvement:General (knows how to use it) - Ownership:1 week to 1 month

    Pros:
Let’s see some pros: -I don't think it's possible to find a better price. -It's nice.
    Cons:
Now let’s see some cons: When the "spoon" of the earpick is inside your ear, it feels a little bit too sharp. If you ...
